Abstract
Bu çalışmada, 5-aminoizoftalik asitin (H2aif) Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) ve Cd(II) geçiş metalleri ile karışık ligantlı kompleksleri sentezlendi. İkincil ligant olarak 4-pikolin (4-metilpiridin, 4-pic) ligantı kullanıldı. Bu komplekslerin yapısı elementel analiz yötemiyle; manyetik özellikleri manyetik duyarlılık çalışmalarıyla; spektroskopik özellikleri UV-Vis ve FT-IR teknikleriyle; Mn(II), Ni(II) ve Cu(II) komplekslerinin yapısı ise X-ışınları tek kristal kırınım tekniği ile aydınlatıldı. Komplekslerin termik davranışları eşzamanlı TG, ve DTA teknikleri ile incelendi. Sentezlenen metal-(aif)-(4-pic) ([Mn(aif)(4-pic)2].1,5H2O; [Co(aif)(H2O)(4-pic)2].(4-pic); [Ni(aif)(H2O)2(4-pic)2].1,5(4-pic); [Cu(aif)(4-pic)3].[Cu(aif)H2O(4-pic)2].3H2O; [Cd(aif)(4-pic)2]) kompleslerinin manyetik duyarlılık ölçümlerinden spin manyetik momentleri hesaplandı. [Mn(aif)(4-pic)2].1,5H2O, [Ni(aif)(H2O)2(4-pic)2].1,5(4-pic), [Cu(aif)(4-pic)3].[Cu(aif)H2O(4-pic)2].3H2O komplekslerinin uygun tek kristali elde edilerek incelendi ve moleküler yapıları aydınlatıldı. Sentezlenen komplekslerde nötral ligant (4-pic) metal iyonlarına N atomu üzerinden koordine olurken, 5-aminoizoftalato ligantı karbonil oksijenleriyle birden fazla metal merkezine bağlanarak köprü ligant davranışı sergilemektedir. Komplekslerin termik özellikleri, eşzamanlı TG, DTG ve DTA teknikleriyle incelendi. Yapısında su bulunan komplekslerin ilk bozunma aşamasında suyun uzaklaştığı, ikinci aşamada ise nötral ligantların uzaklaşması ve aif ligantlarının bozunmasının gerçekleştiği gözlendi. Son bozunma ürünü olarak karşılık gelen metal oksitler oluştuğu belirlendi.
In this study, mixed ligand complexes of 5-aminoisophtalic acid (H2aif) with Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Cd(II) transition metal ions together with 4-picoline (4-pic) have been synthesized. The structural and spectroscopic properties of the complexes have been investigated by elemental analyses, magnetic susceptibility measurements together with single crystal X-ray diffraction, FT-IR and UV-Vis techniques. Thermal behaviours of the complexes have been simultaneously determined by thermal analysis techniques (TG, DTG and DTA). The magnetic moment values of the ([Mn(aif)(4-pic)2].1,5H2O; [Co(aif)(H2O)(4-pic)2].(4-pic); [Ni(aif)(H2O)2(4-pic)2].1,5(4-pic); [Cu(aif)(4-pic)3].[Cu(aif)H2O(4-pic)2].3H2O; [Cd(aif)(4-pic)2]), complexes have been calculated through the magnetic susceptibility measurements. The structures of the [Mn(aif)(4-pic)2].1,5H2O, [Ni(aif)(H2O)2(4-pic)2].1,5(4-pic), [Cu(aif)(4-pic)3].[Cu(aif)H2O(4-pic)2].3H2O complexes have been identified by X-ray single crystal method. In the complexes neutral ligand 4-pic acts as a monodentate N-donor and aif ligand in bridging manner connects more than one metal centers by carboxylic oxygens. The thermal behaviours of the complexes were investigated by means of TG, DTG and DTA techniques. In the thermal anaysis of the complexes contain water ligand, the first decomposition stage is dehydration. After dehydration, degration of the 4-pic and decomposition of aif ligands occur in the second and the third stage.
