Abstract
Karadeniz'de Ağ Kafeslerde Mugil auratus Risso,1810 (Altınbaş Kefal) Yavrularının Büyümesi Üzerine İki Farklı Yemin Etkileri ÖZET Denemede, Sinop ili Sarıkum gölü bölgesinden yakalanan ve M. auratus türü olduğu saptanan kefal yavruları kullanılmıştır. Deneme başlangıcında, 240 adet kefal yavrusu, denizdeki iki ayrı kafese stoklanmışlardır. Denemede kullanılan balıklar, kuru madde üzerinden % 36.24 ham protein içeren yarı yaş yem (I.grup) ve % 43.82 ham protein içeren sazan pelet yemi (Il.grup) ile 60 gün boyunca beslenmişlerdir. Balıklara günlük verilecek yem miktarı, balıkların canlı ağırlıklarının % 5' i oranında belirlenmiştir.
ABSTRACT In the present study, juveniles of mullet that have been identified as M auratus were collected from Sarıkum Lake in the Province of Sinop, were used. In the beginning of the experiment, 240 juvenile mullets were stocked in the two sea cages. Fish used in the research were fed with the semi-moist feed (crude protein of 36.24 %; on dry weight basis; I. group) and with the pellet carp feed (crude protein of 43.82 %; on dry weight basis; Il.group) for 60 days. The amount of daily feed to be given was determined in the ratio of 5 % of body weight. The pellet feed used in the experiment were bougth from the feed market. The semi-moist feed were prepared by mixing the 50 % of minced fish (E.encrasicholus, L. 1758), with 25 % of rice bran and with 25 % of soybean meal until getting like a paste. During the experiment, the mean temperature of seawater was 21.9 °C. In the beginning of the experiment, the mean weights of the first group and the second group were determined 14.62 ± 0.24 g and 14.71 ± 0.17 g, t- test showed that there is no statistical difference in the mean body weight between the two groups (P>0.05). In the end of experiment, the mean body weights in the first group and the second group were estimated as 25.98 ± 0.85 g, 22.04 ± 0.65 g. t-test showed that there is a significantly difference in the mean body weight between groups (P In the end of experiment the daily absolute weight rising in the first and second groups were 0.189 and 0.122 g, feed conversion rates were 4.5 and 6.4 and condition factors were 0.947 ± 0.013, 0.952 ± 0.09, respectively. Key words: Mugil auratus, Black Sea, the cage fishing, growth, semi-moist feed.
