Abstract
Ill ÖZET Çeltik bitkisinin yüzde yirmisini teşkil eden ve fabrikalarda pirinç üretimi sırasında yan ürün olarak e- le geçen kavuz halen ülkemizde değerlendirilememektedir. Bu çalışmada, ülkemizde yılda ortalama 30 000 ton gibi büyük miktarlarda ele geçen kavuzun endüstriyel kul lanımının sağlanabilmesi için optimum kalitede kavuz külü elde edilmesi ve özel kullanım yerleri bulunan kavuz kül lü çimento üretilmesi amaçlandı. Kavuzun ısı değeri, çeşitli sıcaklık ve sürelerde elde edilen kavuz küllerinin özgül yüzey alanları ve pu- zolanik aktif likleri bulundu. Kavuz küllerinin DTA-TGA, X-ışını ve Taramalı Elektron Mikroskobu (SEM) analizleri yapıldı. Optimum şartlarda üretilen kavuz külü kullanılarak kavuz küllü çimento üretildi ve hazırlanan çimento pasta larının çeşitli çözeltilerdeki dayanıklılıkları incelendi.
IV SUMMARY The husk that forms twenty percent of paddy and obtained as a by-product during rice production in plants has not yet been evaluated in Turkey. In this study, in order to utilize the rice husk in industry which was produced in large amounts such as 30.000 tonnes per year in our country, it is aimed that husk ash of optimum quality should be obtained and rice husk ash cement which has special areas of utilization should be produced. Fuel value cf husk, specific surface areas and pozzolanic reactivity of husk ash which were prepared in various temperatures and periods have been found. DTA- TGA, X-Rays and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) analys.es of rice husk ash were obtained. By using the rice husk ash produced in optimum conditions, rice hust ash cement was prepared and behaviours of cement pastes in various solutions were examined.
