Abstract
11 Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) ve Zn(II) GEÇİŞ METALLERİNİN BAZI N-BAZ KARIŞIK LİGANTLI SALİSİLATO KOMPLEKSLERİNİN SENTEZİ, SPEKTROSKOPİK VE TERMİK ÖZELLİKLERİ ÖZET Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) ve Zn(II) geçiş metallerinin salisilik asit ile nikotinamit, N,N- dimetiletilendiamin ve 1,10-fenantrolin N-baz karışık ligantlı metal kompleksleri sentezlenerek, elementel analizleri yapıldı, spektroskopik özellikleri UV-VIS ve İR teknikleri ile incelendi. Komplekslerin manyetik duyarlık ölçümlerinden spin manyetik momentleri hesaplandı. Zn(II) kompleksleri ve sadece Co(III) kompleksinin diyamanyetik, diğer komplekslerin ise paramanyetik ve yüksek spinli olduklan bulundu. Komplekslerin termik davranışları TG, DTG ve DTA teknikleri ile incelendi. İlk bozunma basamakları sıcaklıkları (DTGmax) dikkate alınarak komplekslerin termik kararlılık sırası belirlendi. Termik kararlılık sırasının, salisilatonikotinamit-metal kompleksleri için, Ni(H) (126 °C) > Co(II) (114 °C) > Cu(II) (95 °C) > Zn(II) (81 °C); salisilatoN,N-dimetiletilendiamin-metal kompleksleri için, Ni(II) (262,4 °C) > Zn(II) (164,7 °C) > Cu(II) (88,7 °C) > Co(II) (40,1 °C) ve salisilata 1,10-fenantrolin-metal kompleksleri için, Co(II) (141,1 °C) > Zn(II) (131,9 °C) > Cu(II) (67,9 °C) > Ni(II) (62,3 °C) şeklinde olduğu belirlendi. Ill SYNTHESIS, SPECTROSCOPIC AND THERMAL PROPERTIES OF SOME MIXED-LIGAND SALICYLATO COMPLEXES OF Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(H) AND Zn(II) TRANSITION METALS ABSTRACT Salicylic acid and nicotinamide, N,N-dimethylethylenediamine and 1,1- phenanthroline N-donor mixed-ligand complexes of Co(H), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) were synthesized, their elemental analyses were obtained and spectroscopic properties of the complexes were investigated by UV-VIS and IR techniques. The spin only magnetic moments have been calculated from the magnetic susceptibility measurement of the complexes. The magnetic moments have shown that Zn(H) and Co(IQ) complexes are diamagnetic whereas the other complexes are paramagnetic and exhibit high-spin configuration. Thermal behaviour of the complexes was investigated by the TG, DTG and DTA techniques. The sequence of thermal stability of the metal complexes was found to be Ni(II) (126 °C) > Co(ü) (114 °C) > Cu(II) (95 °C) > Zn(H) (81 °C) for salicylatonicotinamide complexes, Ni(II) (262,4 °C) > Zn(H) (164,7 °C) > Cu(II) (88,7 °C) > Co(II) (40,1 °C) for salicylatoN,N-dimethylethylenediamine complexes and Co(II) (141,1 °C) > Zn(II) (131,9 °C) > Cu(II) (67,9 °C) > Ni(II) (62,3 °C) for salicylatol,l- phenanthroline complexes by using the DTGmax of the first decomposition stages of the complexes.
