Bir Ruh Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Hastanesinde Çalışan Hemşirelerin Duygusal Durumlara Yaklaşma ve Kaçınma Motivasyonlarının Bazı Değişkenler Açısından İncelenmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı, bir ruh sağlığı ve hastalıkları hastanesinde çalışan hemşirelerin duygusal durumlara yaklaşma ve kaçınma motivasyonlarının bazı değişkenler açısından incelemesidir. Materyal ve Metot: Tanımlayıcı tipte olan bu araştırmanın evrenini Haziran 2017-Temmuz 2017 tarihleri arasında Samsun Ruh Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları Hastanesinde çalışan 119 hemşire, örneklemini araştırmaya dâhil edilme kriterlerine uyan 101 hemşire oluşturmuştur. Araştımada veri toplama aracı olarak 'Hemşire Tanıtıcı Özellikler Formu' ve 'Duygu Gereksinim Ölçeği (DGÖ) kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel SPSS 21.00 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Duygularını tanımakta yeterli olduğunu düşünen hemşirelerin kaçınma alt boyutundan düşük puan aldıkları belirlenmiştir (p<0,05). Duygularını ifade etmekte yeterli olduğunu düşünen hemşirelerin ise yaklaşma alt boyutundan yüksek; kaçınma alt boyutundan düşük puan aldıkları saptanmıştır (p<0,05). Sosyal yaşamında duygu yoğunluğu yüksek olan ortamlara katılma konusunda kısmen çekimser kaldığını ifade eden hemşirelerin kaçınma alt boyutundan daha yüksek puan aldıkları bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Sonuç: Araştırmanın yapıldığı ruh sağlığı ve hastalıkları hastanesinde çalışan hemşirelerin duygularını ifade etmede yeterli olduğunu düşünme değişkeninin duygusal durumlara yaklaşma motivasyonuna; duyguları tanımakta yeterli olduğunu düşünme, sosyal yaşamda duygu yoğunluğu yüksek ortamlarda çekimser kalma, ruhsal hastalığı olan bireylerin tehlikeli olduklarını düşünme ve ruhsal hastalığa sahip bireylerle çalışırken zorluk yaşama değişkenlerinin ise kaçınma motivasyonuna etki ettiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Aim: The aim of this study is to examine the emotional situations of nurses working in a mental health and diseases hospital in terms of some variables of their motivation. Material and Method: 101 Nurses who work in Samsun Mental Health and Diseases Hospital Between June 2017 and July 2017 and those who have appropriate criteria for their samples to be included to the search form the field of this diagnostic research. 119 Nurses working in Samsun mental health and Diseases Hospital between June 2017 AND July 2017 in the field of this descriptive type of research are 101 nurses who meet the criteria for inclusion in the study has created. As a data collection tool in the research, 'Nurse identification Properties Form' and 'Emotion requirement scale (DGÖ) were used. Additionally, the Statistical 21.00 spss package program of the gathered data was used. Results: Nurses who think that it is sufficient to recognise their emotions have been determined to score lower than the avoidance subdimension (p < 0.05). Nurses who think it is enough to express their emotions are higher than the approach subdimension; They were found to be lower than the avoidance subdimension (p< 0.05). It was found that nurses who expressed a partial abstention in their social life to participate in environments with high emotion intensity had higher scores than the subdimension of avoidance (p < 0.05). Conclusion: The motivation of the think variable to approach emotional situations is sufficient to express the feelings of nurses working in the mental health and Diseases Hospital where the research was conducted; Thinking that it is sufficient to recognise emotions, abstaining in high-intensity environments in social life, thinking that individuals with mental illness are dangerous and it is resulted that having difficulty working with individuals with mental diseases factors effects the motivation of avoidance.
