Abstract
The development of a new miniaturized capillary electrophoresis system is proposed in a new concept in this work. Micro-sized all solid state anion-sensitive electrodes were used as dedectors in the developed system. For this aim, potentiometric performance characteristics of the electrodes were determined under static and capillary electrophoretic conditions. A micro-sized solid-state reference electrode was also developed to use together with anion-sensitive electrode in the system. The separation and potentiometric detection of Cl ? and NO ? 3 anions in the developed system were successfully accomplished in spite of many technological difficulties. Keywords: Capillary electrophoresis; Anion-sensitive micro electrode; Anion separation; Potentiometric detector
