Abstract
In classical and modern times, environmental reality was interpreted in terms of monological language centered around either on environment itself or human being. Said differently, in classical time, monological language was signifying sacred domination of environment on human consciousness, which was taken to be a sign of transcendent Being; in modern time, monological language has been signifying scientific and technological domination of human consciousness on environment. In my thesis, I propose different idea as follows: relationship between human being and environment can be taken within dialogical language where tradition and scientific approach can be fused without any form of domination. This is possible when this relationship is considered in terms of old Greek notion 'kairos' and Gadamer's notion 'fusion of horizons' in the context of ethics of facing each other. Key words: 1. reality, 2. kairos, 3. fusion of horizons, 4. dialogical language,5. ethics of facing each other.
