Abstract
Bu çalışmada fitalik asit ve türevlerinin, nikotinamit, isonikotinamit, N-(2-hydroksietil)etilendiamin ve N-(4-Aminofenil)asetamit ile karışık ligantlı metal bileşiklerinden 7 adet tek kristal ve 3 adet toz kristal sentezlendi. Elde edilen bileşiklerin yapısal özellikleri, elementel ve termal analiz, FT-IR ve UV spektroskopisi yöntemleri ile incelendi. Tek kristal olarak sentezlenen bileşikler ise X-ışını Kırınımı (XRD) yöntemiyle yapıları aydınlatılmıştır. Ayrıca [Cu(pht)2(na)2(H2O)2] bileşiği ise EPR spektroskopisi ile manyetik özellikleri incelenip ve hesaplamalı yöntemler (DFT) ile deneysel yöntemler karşılaştırılmıştır. X-ışını kırınım çalışmalarında ağırlıklı olarak fitalik asit, izofitalik asit ve terefitalik asitin bileşiklerdeki ligant davranışı ile kristal paketlenmesindeki ve supramoleküler yapı oluşumundaki rolüne değinilmiştir. Bileşiklerin orta şiddette hidrojen bağı yapması ile bileşiklere supramoleküler yapı özelliği kazandırdığı gözlenmiştir. İzofitalik asitin bulunduğu 7 adet bileşik bulunmaktadır. Bu bileşiklerin farklı metallerle koordinasyonu incelenerek birbirleriyle karşılaştırma yapılmıştır. IR spektroskopi çalışmalarında, fitalik asit ve türevlerinin tüm bileşiklerdeki karakteristik titreşim frekansları belirlendi. Komplekslerin IR spektrumları ile serbest ligantların (fitalik asit, izofitalik asit ve terefitalik asit) IR spektrumları karşılaştırıldı. Bu asitlerin asimetrik ve simetrik COO gerilme titreşim frekansları arasındaki farkları metale bağlanma şeklini açıklamada kullanılmıştır. Elementel analiz sonuçları, termogravimetrik yöntem ile (TG, DTG ve DTA eğrileri) ve UV-Vis spektroskopisi ile desteklenerek toz kristallerin öngörülen yapıları çizilmiştir.
In this study, 7 single crystals and 3 powder crystals of phthalic acid and its derivatives mixed with nicotinamide, isonicotinamide, N- (2-hydroxyethyl) ethylenediamine and N- (4-Aminophenyl) acetamide were synthesized. Structural properties of the obtained compounds were investigated by elemental and thermal analysis, FT-IR and UV spectroscopy methods. X-ray diffraction (XRD) method has been clarified for the compounds synthesized as single crystals. In addition, magnetic properties of [Cu(pht)2(na)2(H2O)2] compound were investigated by EPR spectroscopy and experimental methods were compared with computational methods (DFT). In X-ray diffraction studies, mainly ligand behavior of phthalic acid, isophthalic acid and terephthalic acid in the compounds and the role of crystal packing and formation of supramolecular structure have been mentioned. It was observed that binding of the compounds with moderate hydrogen bonding gave the compounds supramolecular structure properties. There are 7 compounds with isophthalic acid. The coordination of these compounds with different metals was examined and compared with each other. In IR spectroscopy studies, the characteristic vibrational frequencies of phthalic acid and its derivatives in all compounds were determined. The IR spectra of the complexes were compared with the free ligands (phthalic acid, isophthalic acid and terephthalic acid). The differences between the asymmetric and symmetric COO stretching vibration frequencies of these acids are used to describe the manner in which they attach to the metal. Elemental analysis results were supported by thermogravimetric method (TG, DTG and DTA curves) and UV-Vis spectroscopy and the predicted properties of the powder crystals were plotted.
