Muammer Sun'un Eşliksiz Karma Koro Eserleri Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, üçüncü kuşak bestecilerimizin en önemli isimlerinden Muammer Sun'un, yaşamı ve fikirleri doğrultusunda, koro müziğine yaklaşımını ele almak, eşliksiz koro için bestelediği eserlerin incelemesini yaparak koro icracılarına, koro şeflerine ve bu alanda yapılacak çalışmalara katkı sağlamak ve kaynak oluşturmaktır. Muammer Sun, ulusal koro repertuvarımızın gelişimine önemli katkılar sağlamış, koro müziği ve koroların yaygınlaşması için çalışmalarda bulunmuş, koro eserleri ile geniş kitlelere ulaşmış bir bestecimizdir. Koro müziğine bu denli önemli katkıları olmuş bestecimizin, eşliksiz koro müziklerini inceleyen kapsamlı bir çalışmanın olmaması, bu alanda yapılacak bir çalışmanın ihtiyaç olduğu fikrini doğurmuş ve bu çalışmayı önemli kılmıştır. Araştırma sürecinde Sun'un, düşün hayatı ve koro müziğine verdiği önemin daha iyi anlaşılabilmesini sağlamak amacıyla, Sun hakkında yapılmış ulusal ve uluslararası çalışmalar için literatür taraması yapılmış, Sun'un yazdığı ve hakkında yazılmış çok sayıda kitap, bildiri, tez, sesli ve yazılı röportaj, makale ve bildiriye ulaşılmıştır. Sun'un en çok seslendirilen koro eserlerini barındırması nedeniyle, 'Koro için Beş Türkü', 'Gelenekten Geleceğe', 'Sultan Gelin' albümleri içerisinde yer alan eşliksiz koro eserleri çalışma kapsamında ele alınarak döküman analizi tekniği ile incelenmiş, bu doğrultuda, alanında uzman koro şefi, orkestra şefi ve bestecilerle yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın, Muammer Sun ve koro müziği alanında yapılacak çalışmalara katkı sağlaması hedeflenmiştir.

The aim of the research is to discuss the choral music approach of Muammer Sun, one of the most important composer among Turkish third generation composers, by considering his life and ideas, to contribute to the choir performers, choir conductors and the studies to be done in this field by examining the works he composed for the unaccompanied choir, and to create a resource. Muammer Sun is a composer who has contributed significantly to the development of our national choral repertoire, has worked for choral music and choirs to become widespread, and has reached large audiences with his choral works. The lack of a comprehensive study examining unaccompanied choral music of our composer, who made such important contributions to choir music, gives rise to the idea that convenient research is required for this literature gap and makes this study important. In order to provide a better understanding of the importance of his ideas and choral music concepts that he regards during the research process, a literature review was conducted for national and international studies about Sun. Numerous books, papers, thesis, audio and written interviews, articles and papers that were written about him have been obtained accordingly. Also, some of these sources consist of the documents that were written by himself. Due to the fact that unaccompanied choral works in 'Koro için Beş Türkü', 'Gelenekten Geleceğe', 'Sultan Gelin' albums of Sun were most widely performed, they were examined within the scope of the study and examined with document analysis technique. Semi-structured interviews were held with choir conductors, conductors and composers who are experts in their fields accordingly. It is aimed that this study will contribute to the work to be done in the field of Muammer Sun and choral music.
