Abstract
Ftalosiyaninler, makrosiklik bileşiklerin en önemli bir sınıfıdır. Periyodik cetvelde 70'den fazla farklı metal içeren ftalosiyanin sentezi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ftalosiyaninler, boya, pigment olarak baskı mürekkebinde, renkli metal ve plastik yüzey yapımında, lazer teknolojisinde, optik ve elektrik materyallerde, fotodinamik kanser tedavisi, kimyasal sensörlerde ve sıvı kristal olarak geniş kullanım alanına sahiptirler. En önemli boya maddesi olan ftalosiyaninler ftalonitril ve türevlerinden (ftalik asit, ftalimid veya bunların sübstitüsyon ürünleri) uygun şartlar altında üretilmiştir. Ftalosiyaninlerin çözünürlüğü, farklı uzun zincirli, dallanmış alkil veya alkoksi gibi uygun grupların bağlanmasıyla değiştirilebilmektedir. Böylece, farklı çözünürlük özelliği gösteren ftalosiyaninler sentezlenebilir. Bu çalışmada, makrosiklik bileşiklerin bir üyesi olan metalsiz (H2Pc) ve metal içeren polimerik ftalosiyaninler (MPc, M=Cu, Ni, Co, Zn) sentezlendi. Bu amaç için ilk olarak, 1,3-bis(oktiltiyo)propan-2-ol (A) bileşiği, etil alkol ortamında sodyum oktan-1-tiyolat ile 1,3-dikloro-2-propanolün reaksiyonuyla sentezlendi. İkinci olarak, 4,4´-(2,3-dibromobütan-1,4-diil)bis(okso)diftalonitril (B) bileşiği, 2,3-dibrom-1,4-bütandiol ile 4-nitroftalonitrilin DMF içerisinde, susuz K2CO3 ve N2(g) atmosferi altında, 60 °C'deki reaksiyon ile sentezlenmiştir. Daha sonra, 4,4'-(2,3-bis(1,3-bis(oktiltiyo)propan-2-iloksi)bütan-1,4-diil)bis(oksi)diftalonitril (C) bileşiği 1,3-bis(oktiltiyo)propan-2-ol (A) ile 4,4´-(2,3-dibromobütan-1,4-diil)bis(oksi)di ftalo nitril (B) in DMF içerisinde, susuz K2CO3 ve N2(g) atmosferi altında, 60 °C'deki reaksiyon ile sentezlendi. Son olarak, metalsiz ftalosiyanin polimeri H2Pc (1), N,N-dietiletanolamin içerisinde katalizör DBU varlığında N2(g) atmosferi altında, 180 dakika 600 Watt mikro dalga yardımıyla, metal içeren ftalosiyaninler ise susuz metal tuzları CuCl2, NiCl2, CoCl2 ve Zn(CH3COO)2 ile N,N-dimetiletanolamin içerisinde DBU varlığında N2(g) atmosferi altında, 25 dakika 360 Watt mikro dalga yardımıyla CuPc (2), NiPc (3), CoPc (4), ZnPc (5) polimerleri elde edildi. Sentezi gerçekleştirilen bütün bileşiklerin yapıları, UV-Vis, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, TGA ve Elementel analiz teknikleri yardımıyla aydınlatıldı.
The phthalocyanines are an important class of macrocyclic compounds. The phthalocyanine synthesis that contains more than 70 different metal in the periodic table was performed. The phthalocyanines, in the press ink as a dye and pigment, for making coloured metal and plastic surfaces, in the laser technology, in the optical and electrical materials, for the photodynamic cancer cure and chemical sensor, as a liquid crystal have widely usage in different areas. The most important dyestuff, phathalocyanines, have been produced from phthalonitrile and derivatives (phthalic acid, phthalimide or substitution products of these) under appropriate conditions. The solubility or phthalocyanines can be changed by the incorporation of substituents, such as alkyl or alkoxy groups having the different chain lenghts, or branched systems. Thus, phthalocyanines exhibiting different solubility can be synthesized. In this study, metal-free and metal bonded polymeric phthalocyanines (H2Pc and MPc, M=Cu, Ni, Co, Zn) which were members of the macrocyclic compounds were obtained. For this purpose, firstly; 1,3-bis(octylthio)propan-2-ol (A) compound was synthesized by the reaction of sodium octane-1-thiol with 1,3-dicloro-2-propanol in ethyl alcole. Secontly, 4,4´-(2,3-dibromobutane-1,4-diyl)bis(oxy)diphthalonirtile (B) compound was synthesized by the reaction of 2,3-dibromobutane-1,4-diol with 4-nitrophthalonitrile in the presence of anhydrous K2CO3 under N2 atmosphere at 60 ºC in DMF solvent. After 4,4'-(2,3-bis(1,3-bis (octylthio)propan-2-yloxy)butane-1,4-diyl)bis(oxy)diphthalonitrile (C) was synthesized by the reaction of 1,3-bis (octylthio)propan-2-ol with 4,4´-(2,3-dibromobutane-1,4-diyl)bis(oxy)diphthalo nirtile (B) in the presence of anhydrous K2CO3 under N2 atmosphere at 60 ºC in DMF solvent. Finally, metal-free phthalocyanine polymeric H2Pc (1) was synthesized from phthalonitrile (C) in the presence of DBU catalyst, 180 min in the 600 watt microwave under N2 atmosphere in N,N-dimethylethanolamine solvent. Metal phthalocyanine polymers, CuPc (2), NiPc (3), CoPc (4), ZnPc (5) were obtained from interaction of phthalonitrile (C) with anhydrous CuCl2, NiCl2, CoCl2 and Zn(CH 3 COO)2 respectively, in the presence DBU as catalyst, for 25 min in the 360 watt microwave under N2 atmosphere N,N-dimethylethanolamine solvent. The structures of all compounds synthesized were enlightened by UV-Vis, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, TGA and elemental analysis techniques.
