Abstract
Klasik Yunan Filozoflarının şehir hakkındaki düşünceleri, klasik İslam filozoflarına bir önbilgi/bir bakış açısı kazandırmış görünmektedir. Bu bakış açısıyla Farabi, felsefenin şehirde başat unsuru olması gerektiği sonucuna varmıştır. İslam şehirlerinde felsefenin dilsel boyutta din dilinin yerini tutamayacağını fark eden İbn Sina felsefenin din dilinin yorumlanması sürecinde şehrin bir karakteri haline gelebileceğinin ilk örneklerini sergilemiştir. İbn Bacce, felsefenin/filozofun İslam şehirlerindeki olumsuz imajını mütevahhid ironisiyle ortaya koyarak şehir-felsefe ilişkisi sorununu tersinden okumamıza imkan vermiştir. Şehir-felsefe ilişkisini kurgusal anlatı metoduyla anlatan İbn Tufeyl, şehrin diline felsefi imaları bulunan işaretler bırakarak insanlara felsefi düşünceye bir hazırlık eğitimi sunmuştur.Anahtar KelimelerŞehir, Felsefe, Din dili, Reflektif Düşünme, Diyalojik Düşünme.
It seems that classical Greek philosophers? ideas on the notion `city? (polis) paved way for classical Muslim philosophers to have a fore-knowledge and perspective toward the cities. From this viewpoint, Farabi proposes that philosophy should be a constitutive part of cities. Ibn Sina gives us some examples of the claim that philosophy can be a main character of cities by interpreting the main texts of Islam. He follows this way since he is aware of the fact that philosophical language cannot receive the position of religious language within Islamic cities. Ibn Bajjah allows us to read ironically the relationship between city and philosophy in terms of his image `mutawahhid? which represents the negative reception of philosophy within Islamic cities. Ibn Tufail proposes a preparatory stage for philosophical education in terms of his fictive character ?Hayy b. Yaqzan? who symbolizes the embodiment of metaphorical language.Key WordsCity, Philosophy, Religious Language, Reflective Thinking, Dialogical Thinking.
