Abstract
2-PİRİDÎLMETANOL VE 2,6-DİMETANOLPİRİDİN İÇEREN KARIŞIK LÎGANTLI METAL SAKKARİN KOMPLEKSLERİNİN SENTEZİ, SPEKTROSKOPİK,TERMİK VE YAPISAL ÖZELLİKLERİ ÖZET Bu çalışmada 2-piridilmetanol(#ym) ve 2,6-dimetanolpiridin(dmp>') içeren toplam 12 adet yeni karışık ligantlı metal-sakkarin kompleksi sentezlendi. Elde edilen komplekslerin yapıları elementel analiz, manyetik duyarlılık ölçümleri, İR, UV-VIS spektroskopisi, termik analiz teknikleri ve X-ışınlan tek kristal çalışmalarıyla aydınlatıldı. Pym amin azotu ve metanol oksijeni üzerinden çift dişli ligant olarak davranır. Pym- civa(II) kompleksi polimerik iken diğer Pym kompleksleri monomeriktir. Pym-bakır(II) kompleksinde sakkarinat(,sac) ligantları negatif yüklü azot atomu üzerinden koordine olurken, [Mn(sac)2(pym)2], [Fe(sac)2(pym)2], [Co(sac)2(pym)2], [Ni(sac)2(pym)2], [Zn(sac)2(pym)2], ve [Cd(sac)2(pym)2] komplekslerinde iki sac ligandından birinin negatif yüklü azot atomu üzerinden, diğerinin ise karbonil oksijeni üzerinden koordine olduğu belirlendi. [Hg(sac)2(pym)] kompleksinde ise sakkarinat ligantlannın azot ve sülfonil oksijeni üzerinden çift dişli koordine olarak dimerik birimler arasında köprü oluşturduğu belirlendi. Dmpy nin amin azotu ve iki metanol oksijeni üzerinden N,0,0-donör üç dişli ligant olarak metale koordine olduğu ve sakkarinat anyonlarının koordinasyona katılamayıp tamamlayıcı iyon olarak görev yaptığı belirlenmiştir. Dmpy komplekslerinin kapalı formülü [M(dmpy)2](sac)2.2H20 (M= Co(II), Nİ(II), Cu(II) ve Zn(II) )' dür. Komplekslerin termik analiz çalışmalarında, yapısında su bulunan komplekslerin ilk basamağının yapıdan suyun uzaklaşmasına ait olduğu, ardından takip eden basamaklarda pym ve dmpy ligantlannın uzaklaştığı, son olarak da sac' in uzaklaşarak karşılık gelen metal veya metaloksitlerin ele geçtiği tespit edildi. 11 SYNNTHESIS, SPECTROSCOPIC, THERMAL AND STRUCTURAL PROPERTIES OF MIXED LIGAND METAL SACCHARIN COMPLEXES WITH 2-PYRIDYLMETHANOL,2,6-DIMETHANOLPYRIDINE ABSTRACT In this work, twelve new complexes of 2-pyridylmethanol(pj>m) and 2,6- dimethanolpyridine(c/m/?y) with metal saccharinates were synthesized. The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, magnetic measurements, IR, UV-VIS spectroscopy, thermal analysis and single crystal X-ray diffractometry. Pym coordinates to metals throught the amin nitrogen and hydroxyl oxygen behaving as a bidentate ligand. While /?ym-mercury(II) complex is polimeric, the others pym complexes are monomeric. In the [Cu(sac)2(pym)2] complex, two sac anions coordinate to copper metal through the its imino nitrogen. In the [Mn(sac)2(pym)2], [Fe(sac)2(pym)2], [Co(sac)2(pym)2], [Ni(sac)2(pym)2], [Zn(sac)2(pym)2] and [Cd(sac)2(pym)2] complexes, one of two sac anions coordinates to the metals through the imino nitrogen, while the other is bonded to the metals with carbonyl oxygen atom. In the #ym-mercury(II) complex, sac anions act as a bidentate N- and Oso2- donor ligand and dimeric [Hg2(sac)4(pym)2] units are bridged by bis-bidentate sac ligands. In the dmpy complexes ( [M(dmpy)2](sac)2.2H20 ), dmpy behaves as a tridentate ligand and sac anions remain outside of the coordination sphere became of the steric effect of the bulky dmpy ligand (M= Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) ve Zn(II) ). In the thermal analysis studies of the complexes, the first decomposition stages correspond to the dehydration of the complexes. In the following stages the decomposition of pym and dmpy ligands takes place and the saccharinate anion decomposes at the final stage of the decomposition to give the respective metals or metal oxides.
