Abstract
Bu çalışmada piperazin (ppz), 1-(2-aminoetil)piperazin (aeppz) ve N,N'-bis(2-hidroksietil)piperazin (bheppz) içeren toplam 18 adet yeni karışık ligantlı metal-sakkarin kompleksi sentezlendi. Elde edilen komplekslerin yapıları elementel analiz, manyetik duyarlılık ölçümleri, IR spektroskopisi, UV-VIS spektroskopisi, termik analiz teknikleri ve X-ışınları tek kristal çalışmalarıyla aydınlatıldı.Spektroskopik çalışmaların sonuçları, M(II)-sac-ppz [M(II)= Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) ve Hg(II)] komplekslerinin üç farklı kapalı formüle sahip polimerik kompleksler olduklarını gösterdi. Co(II), Ni(II) ve Cd(II) komplekslerinde, M(II) iyonlarına iki akua, iki ppz ve iki sac ligantları koordine olarak altı koordinasyonlu yapı meydana getirir. Cu(II) ve Zn(II) komplekslerinde M(II) iyonlarına bir akua, iki ppz ve iki sac ligantları koordine olarak beş koordinasyonlu yapı meydana getirir. Hg(II) kompleksinde ise Hg(II) iyonuna iki ppz ve iki sac ligantları koordine olarak dört koordinasyonlu yapı meydana getirir. Sac ligandı negatif yüklü azot atomu üzerinden tek dişli olarak koordine olurken, ppz ligandı iki azot atomu üzerinden çift dişli ve köprü yapıcı ligant olarak davranır.M(II)-sac-aeppz [M(II)= Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) ve Hg(II)] komplekslerinde, M(II) iyonlarına iki nötral aeppz ve iki anyonik sac ligantları koordine olarak altı koordinasyonlu yapı meydana getirir. Her aeppz ligandı aminoetil ve halka azot atomları üzerinden çift dişli olarak koordine olurken, sac ligantları trans pozisyonda karbonil oksijen atomları üzerinden koordine olur.Bheppz ligantları azot ve hidroksietil oksijen atomları üzerinden çift dişli ve köprü yapıcı ligant olarak davranır. Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) ve Zn(II) kompleksleri dimerik iken, Cd(II) ve Hg(II) kompleksleri polimeriktir. Sac ligandı azot atomu üzerinden tek dişli ligant olarak davranır. Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) ve Zn(II) kompleksleri iki akua ligandı içerir.Komplekslerin termik analiz çalışmalarında, yapısında akua ligandı bulunduran komplekslerin ilk basamağının yapıdan akua ligandının uzaklaşmasına ait olduğu, ardından takip eden basamaklarda ppz, aeppz ve bheppz ligantlarının uzaklaştığı, son olarak da sac' ın uzaklaşarak karşılık gelen metal veya metaloksitlerin ele geçtiği tespit edildi.
In this work, eighteen new metal complexes of saccharinate (sac) with piperazine (ppz), 1-(2-aminoethyl)piperazine (aeppz) and N,N'-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)piperazine (bheppz) were synthesized. The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, magnetic measurements, IR spectroscopy, UV-VIS spectroscopy, thermal analysis and single crystal X-ray diffractometry.The spectroscopic studies reveal that the M(II)-sac-ppz [M(II)=Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Hg(II)] complexes are polimeric with three different formula. In Co(II), Ni(II) and Cd(II) complexes, M(II) ions are six-coordinated by two aqua, two ppz and two sac ligands. In Cu(II) and Zn(II) complexes, M(II) ions are five-coordinated by aqua, two ppz and two sac ligands. In Hg(II) complex, Hg(II) ions are four-coordinated by two ppz and two sac ligands. The sac ligand acts a monodentate donor through the negatively charged nitrogen atom, while ppz ligand behaves as a bidentate and bridging ligand via the nitrogen atoms.In M(II)-sac-aeppz [M(II)= Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) ve Hg(II)] complexes, M(II) ions are six-coordinated by two aeppz and two sac ligands. Each aeppz ligand behaves as a bidentate ligand through the aminoethyl and ring N atom, while each sac ligand is O-bonded through the carbonyl O atom and placed at trans positions.The bheppz ligand behaves as a bidentate and bridging ligand via the nitrogen and hydroxyethyl oxygen atoms. Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) complexes are dimeric, while Cd(II), Hg(II) complexes are polymeric. The sac ligand acts a monodentate through N atom. Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) complexes contain two aqua ligands.In the thermal analysis studies of the complexes, the first decomposition stages correspond to the dehydration of the complexes. In the following stages the decomposition of ppz, aeppz and bheppz ligands takes place and the saccharinate anion decomposes at the final stage of the decomposition to give the respective metals or metal oxides.
