Hemşirelerde Duygusal Emek ile Psikolojik Belirtiler Arasındaki İlişki

Abstract

Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı, hemşirelerde duygusal emek ile psikolojik belirtiler arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Materyal ve Metot: Araştırma 20.09.2017-14.01.2019 tarihleri arasında Samsun'da bir hastanede çalışmakta olan araştırmaya dahil edilme kriterlerine uyan 171 hemşire ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler araştırmacı tarafından literatür doğrultusunda oluşturulan ″Hemşire Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu″, ″Hemşirelerin Duygusal Emek Davranışı Ölçeği″ ve ″SCL-90-R Psikolojik Belirti Tarama Ölçeği″ kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler, independent t testi, ANOVA, pearson korelasyon testi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan hemşirelerin %90,6'sının kadınlardan oluştuğu, %78.9'unun lisans mezunu olduğu, %77,2'sinin vardiyalı sistemde çalıştığı, %31.6'sının yoğun bakımlarda görev yaptığı belirlenmiştir. Hemşirelerin %50,9'unun hemşirelik yapmaktan memnun olduğu, %76'sının çalıştığı kurumdaki sosyal ilişkilerden memnun olduğu saptanmıştır. Araştırmada hemşirelerde duygusal emek davranışı ile psikolojik belirtiler arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı belirlenmiştir (p<0,05). Cinsiyet, eğitim durumu, meslekten ve sosyal ilişkilerden memnun olma durumuna göre hemşirelerde duygusal emek davranışı ölçeği alt boyut puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı bir fark olduğu bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Görev yapılan birime ve meslekten memnun olma durumuna göre Genel Semptom Indeksi puan ortalamaları arasında anlamlı bir fark olduğu belirlenmiştir (p<0,05). Sonuç: Hemşirelerde duygusal emek davranışı ile psikolojik belirtiler arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Aim: The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between emotional labour and psychological symptoms in nurses. Material and Method: This research was conducted between 20.09.2017-20.01.2019, among 171 nurses, working in a hospital in Samsun, who were fit of the research criteria. The data was collected by the researcher in accordance with the literature ″Nurse Information Form″, ″Nurses' Emotional Labour Behaviour Scale″ and ″SCL-90-R Psychological Symptom Scan Scale″. Statistical analysis have been conducted through the use of independent t test, ANOVA, and the Pearson Correlation test. Findings: 90,6% of the nurses participating in the study were made up of women, %78.9 were high school graduates, 77,2% were working in the shift-work system, and 31.6% were intensive care nurses. 50,9% of nurses were satisfied with performing their duty and 76% were satisfied with the social relations in the institution. In the study, it was determined that there was no significant relationship between emotional labor behavior and psychological symptoms in nurses (p <0.05). According to gender, educational status, status of being satisfied with occupation and social relations, there was a significant difference among the mean scores of the sub-dimension scores of emotional labor behavior scale in nurses (p<0.05). A significant difference was found between GSI score averages according to task unit and occupational satisfaction (p<0.05). Results: It is concluded that there is no meaningful relationship between emotional labour behaviour and psychological symptoms among nurses
