Uzaktan Eğitim Yoluyla Verilen Ana Sanat Atölye Derslerinin Niteliği

Abstract

İlk olarak Mart 2020'de ülkemizde görülen Covid-19 pandemisi, alışık olunan eğitim- öğretim sistemini değiştirmiş ve bir çok kişinin yabancı olduğu online eğitim modeline geçilmesine neden olmuştur. Bu süreç hem öğrencileri hem de eğitimcileri güçlü bir şekilde etkilemiştir. Özellikle de uygulamaya dayalı eğitim veren mimarlık, güzel sanatlar ve tıp fakültesi bünyesinde eğitim-öğretim faaliyeti yürüten akademisyenlerin ve eğitim gören öğrencilerin zorluk yaşayacağı öngörülmüştür. Bu araştırmanın amacı Covid-19 pandemisi döneminde Eğitim Fakültelerinin Resim-İş Öğretmenliği Bölümlerinde yapılan 3. sınıf grafik tasarım ve resim ana sanat atölye derslerinin niteliğini incelemektir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma deseninden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırmanının evrenini Türkiye'de bulunan Üniversitelerin Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Resim İş Eğitimi Anabilim Dalları'nda 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılında öğrenim görmekte olan 3. sınıf grafik tasarım ve resim ana sanat atölye dersi öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemini ise Ondokuzmayıs Üniversitesi, Gazi Üniversitesi, Fırat Üniversitesi, Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi ve Uludağ Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Resim İş Eğitimi Anabilim Dalları'nda öğrenim görmekte olan 3. sınıf grafik tasarım ve resim ana sanat atölye dersi öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Toplamda 131 öğrenci ile çalışılmış, 5 resim ana sanat atölye dersi öğrencisi ankete katılmak istemediği için araştırma dışında bırakılmıştır. Araştırmada nicel veri toplama aracı olan anketten yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmacı tarafından uzman görüşleri ışığında geliştirilen 30 soruluk bir anket online olarak öğrencilere ulaştırılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde uygulanan açıklayıcı faktör analizinde binişik olan veya faktör yükü 0,30'un altında kalan maddeler (3, 5, 9, 10, 13, 16, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 30 numaralı maddeler) ölçekten çıkarılmış ve faktör analizi kalan 18 madde üzerinden tamamlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda öğrenciler, uzaktan eğitimi zamanın verimli kullanılabilmesi açısından olumlu bulmuş, bu dönemde dersleri düzenli olarak takip ettiklerini ifade etmişlerdir. Ancak yüz yüze verilen eğitimdeki imkânların daha erişilebilir olması, eğitimci-öğrenci arasındaki etkileşimin daha yüksek olması gibi çeşitli nedenlerle bu eğitim modelinin uygulamalı dersler için uygun olmadığını düşündükleri görülmüştür.

The Covid-19 pandemic, which was first seen in our country in March 2020, changed the usual education and training system and caused the transition to the online education model, which many people are unfamiliar with. This process has strongly affected both students and educators. It is foreseen that academicians and students who carry out education activities within the faculties of architecture, fine arts and medicine, which provide practice-based education, will experience difficulties. The aim of this research is to examine the quality of the 3rd grade graphic design and painting main art workshop courses held in the Painting Department of Education Faculties during the Covid-19 pandemic period. Quantitative research design was used in the study. The universe of the research consists of 3rd grade graphic design and painting master art workshop course students studying in the Department of Fine Arts Education, Department of Painting Education at universities in Turkey in the 2021-2022 academic year. The sample consists of 3rd grade graphic design and painting master art workshop course students studying at Ondokuz Mayıs University, Gazi University, Fırat University, Dokuz Eylül University and Uludağ University Education Faculty, Fine Arts Education Department, Painting Education Departments. A total of 131 students were studied, and 5 painting major art workshop students did not want to participate in the survey, so they were excluded from the research. Questionnaire, which is a quantitative data collection tool, was used in the research. A questionnaire consisting of 30 questions developed by the researcher in the light of expert opinions was delivered to the students online. In the exploratory factor analysis applied in the analysis of the data obtained, the items (items 3, 5, 9, 10, 13, 16, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 30) that overlapped or whose factor load was below 0.30 were excluded from the scale. and factor analysis was completed on the remaining 18 items. As a result of the research, the students found distance education positive in terms of efficient use of time and stated that they followed the lessons regularly during this period. However, it has been observed that they think that this education model is not suitable for applied courses for various reasons such as the more accessible opportunities in face-to-face education and the higher interaction between the educator and the student.
