Misyon'dan Misyoloji'ye: Misyoloji'nin Hıristiyan Misyon Anlayışına Katkıları

Abstract

Bu araştırmada tüm yönleriyle misyon fenomenini inceleme konusu yapan Misyoloji disiplini ve disiplinin Hıristiyan misyonerliğine sağladığı katkılar ele alınmaktadır. Tarih, teori ve pratik olmak üzere üç sacayağına oturtulmaya çalışılan çalışma üç temel bölümden oluşmaktadır.Birinci bölüm, ana hatlarıyla disiplinin tesis edildiği XIX. yüzyıla kadarki Hıristiyan misyon tarihi ve disiplinin ortaya çıkışı ve gelişim sürecini ele alan tarihçe bölümünden oluşmaktadır.İkinci bölümde, Misyoloji disiplini hakkında teorik bilgi verilmekte ve alanın ana hatları ortaya konulmaktadır. Bu bağlamda disiplin için seçilen misyoloji isminin nereden geldiği, bu ismin dışında başka terminolojinin kullanılıp kullanılmadığı, disipline yönelik tanımlar, disiplinin içeriği, konusu, yapısı, fonksiyonları, temel özellikleri ve disiplinin teoloji ve diğer disiplinlerle ilişkisi gibi temel konular ele alınmaktadır.Üçüncü bölümde, Misyoloji'nin Hıristiyan misyonerliğine katkıları üzerinde durulmaktadır. Misyologların misyon geleneğe yönelik değerlendirmeleri, mevcut döneme dair ortaya koydukları bakış açıları, ortaya çıkan problemlere çözüm önerileri ve geleceğe dair attıkları adımlar, misyoloji eğitim-öğretim faaliyetleri, yürütülen misyon araştırmaları ve ortaya konulan veriler ve basın-yayın faaliyetleri bu bölümde ele alınan temel konuları oluşturmaktadır.Araştırmanın sonuç bölümünde ise üç bölümde elde edilen bulgular değerlendirme yoluna gidilmektedir.

In this study, it is dealt with the Missiology discipline which examines the phenomenon of mission in all dimensions. This study is tried to be seated on three trivets namely, history, theory and practice and in this context it consists of three main chapters.First chapter which covers historical data is divided into two subtitles: Under the first subtitle, it is examined the history of Christian mission and paradigm shifts in mission from the early church until the establishment of Missiology discipline in the nineteenth century. Second subtitle outlines the process of establishment of Missiology as a discipline and its development in the modern era.In the second chapter, it is given theorical information about Missiology discipline and tried to be drawn its main lines. In this context, it is dealt with the basic subjects such like the names/terminology of discipline, definitions about Missiology, subject, structure, functions and the basic characteristics of discipline, the relationship between Missiology and Theology and relationship between Missiology and social sciences like Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology, Linguistics and Statistics.In the third chapter, it is pursued the contributions of Missiology to Christian mission. In this context the following issues are discussed in this chapter: assessments of Christian mission tradition, socio-cultural, economical and human resources problems in mission fields and solution proposals to them, the mission steps taken for the future, Missiology education and mission studies including mission centers and publications.In the conclusion chapter, it is underlined and discussed the main results and main points which have been reached in this thesis.
