Abstract
Bu araştırma tohumlara uygulanan 25, 50, 75 ve 100 Gy gama ışın dozlarının Eresen-87 ve Filiz-99 bakla çeşitleri ile FLIP86-116FB hattında M2 generasyonunda stoma özellikleri üzerine etkilerini belirlemek ve kontrol (0 Gy) uygulaması ile karşılaştırmak amacıyla Samsun koşullarında 2003-2004 yetiştirme döneminde yapılmıştır. Gama ışınlamasının baklada stoma sayısı üzerine etkisinin bulunmadığı, sadece stoma boyu ve eni üzerinde etkiye sahip olduğu, bakla çeşit/hatlarının ise stoma sayısı ve boyu bakımından istatistiksel olarak farklılıklar gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir.
This study was conducted to determine the effects of seed irradiation with 25, 50, 75 and 100 Gy gamma doses on stomatal characteristics of Eresen-87 and Filiz-99 faba bean cultivars, and FLIP 86-116FB line in M2 generation and to compare these effects with non-irradiated control (0 Gy) during 2003-2004 plant growth season under Samsun ecological conditions. It was determined that gamma irradiation had no significant effect on the numbers of stomata, while it had significant effect only on stoma length and width. Faba bean cultivars/line showed significant differences for the number of stomata and stoma length.
