dc.description.abstractChronic inflammatory gingival enlargement, comprises any clinical condition in which an increase in the size of the gingiva is observed. Chronic inflammatory gingival enlargement, is a common feature of gingival disease, which may result from chronic inflammatory changes. When the literatures are evaluated, it is encountered that there are many studies about several surgical techniques have been used towards alleviating these enlargement areas. The purpose of this review is to give general information about chronic inflammatory gingival enlargement and laser-assisted gingivectomy and gingivoplasty techniques used in treatment of gingival enlargement and post-operative healing process.en_US
