| dc.description.abstract | Karpal tünel sendromu (KTS) en sık görülen tuzak nöropatisidir. Çalışmamızın amacı KTS tanısında nadiren kullanılan el bilek kareleşme oranının duyarlılık ve özgüllüğünü değerlendirmekti. Çalışmaya KTS 'nün klinik semptomlarıyla başvuran 35 hasta (58 el) dahil edildi. El bilek kareleşme oranı ölçüldükten sonra 58 elde standart sinir iletim-çalışmaları yapıldı. 44 elde KTS saptandı. El bilek kareleşme oranının duyarlılığı % 93, özgüllüğü ise % 28 olarak bulundu. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is the most common entrapment neuropathy. The aim of this study was evaluating sensitivity and specificity of square shaped wrist ratio which was rarely used in the clinical diagnosis of CTS. In this study, 35 patients (58 hands) included reffered with clinical symptoms of CTS. After measuring squared shaped wrist ratio , standart nerve conduction studies were performed on all 58 hands. CTS was present in 44 hands. Sensitivity of square shaped wrist ratio was % 93, while specificity was %28. | en_US |
