Ortaokul Öğrencilerinin Kullandıkları Öğrenme Stratejilerinin Müzik Dersi Başarısına Etkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırmada ortaokul 5., 6., 7. ve 8. sınıf öğrencilerinin müzik dersinde kullandıkları öğrenme stratejilerinin belirlenmesi, bu stratejilerin kullanım durumlarının tespit edilmesi ve söz konusu stratejilerin öğrencilerin başarı durumlarına etkisini saptamak amaçlanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda müzik dersinden aldıkları en son sınav notlarına ulaşılmış ve söz konusu stratejiler ile sınav notları arasında nasıl bir ilişkinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Bitlis ili ve ilçeleri genelinde Merkez, Tatvan ve Adilcevaz'da bulunan 308 Ortaokul öğrencisi oluşturmuştur. Öğrenme stratejileri ile müzik dersi sınav notları arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemeyi amaçlayan bu araştırma betimsel türdedir ve ilişkisel tarama modelinde yapılmıştır. Ortaokul öğrencilerinin müzik dersi konularını öğrenirken kullandıkları öğrenme stratejilerini öğrenmek ve müzik dersi başarısına etkisini değerlendirmek amacıyla BÜYÜKÖZTÜRK ve diğerlerinin Türkçe'ye aktardığı 'Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire' isimli 'Güdüleme ve Öğrenme Stratejileri' ölçeğinin 'Öğrenme Stratejileri' kısmı kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Öğrencilerin müzik dersi başarı durumlarını saptamak için müzik dersi sınav notları kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonuçlarına göre müzik dersi sınav notları ile öğrenme stratejileri arasında pozitif ve anlamlı ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Anahtar Sözcükler: Öğrenme Stratejileri, Müzik Dersi, Başarı Notu.

In this study, it is aimed to determine the learning strategies used by students in music classes of 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades of secondary school, the use cases of these strategies and the success levels of the students using these strategies. Therefore, the last exam grades these students scored from the music classes were recorded. Thus, the kind of a relationship that exists between these strategies and exam grades can be extracted from these statistics. The research which aims to determine the relationship between learning strategies and music lesson exam grades, is a research of descriptive type and was conducted with the relational screening model. It was carried out on 308 Secondary School students in the city of Bitlis and its districts; the city center, Tatvan and Adilcevaz. In order to determine the learning strategies and to evaluate their effects on success rates in music lessons, the 'Learning Strategies' survey which is a part of the 'Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire', translated into Turkish by BÜYÜKÖZTÜRK et al, has been utilized. The exam grades of the students were taken as a basis in determining the success status. According to the results of the analysis, it can be seen that there is a significant positive relationship between music lesson exam grades and learning strategies.
