Publication: Tıp Fakültesi Araştırma Görevlilerinin Fiziksel Şiddete Uğrama Durumlarının Mesleki ve Kariyer Bağlılıklarına Etkisi
Abstract
Amaç: Çalışmanın amacı tıp fakültesinde çalışan araştırma görevlilerinin fiziksel şiddete uğrama durumları, mesleki bağlılık düzeyleri ve kariyer bağlılığı düzeylerinin belirlenmesi ve fiziksel şiddet durumlarının mesleki bağlılık ve kariyer bağlılığı üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesidir. Materyal ve Metot: Araştırma anket yöntemiyle yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın anketi geçerliliği ve güvenilirliği kabul edilmiş ölçeklerden faydalanılarak uzman görüşü doğrultusunda hazırlanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında 01.08.2019- 15.10.2019 tarihleri arasında Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Sağlık Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi'nde görev yapmakta olan 518 araştırma görevlisine ulaşılması amaçlanmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırma kapsamında 438 araştırma görevlisine ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan araştırma görevlilerinin %11,4 (n=50)'ünün fiziksel şiddete maruz kaldığı tespit edilmiştir. Fiziksel şiddete maruz kalan araştırma görevlilerinin %58 (n=29)'i kadın ve %46 (n=23)'sı dahili tıp bilimlerinde çalışmaktadır. Fiziksel şiddete maruz kalan araştırma görevlilerinin %8 (n=4)'i yaralanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda fiziksel şiddete maruz kalan araştırma görevlilerinin duygusal mesleki bağlılık puan ortalaması 3,6 ± 0,8; mesleki devamlılık bağlılığı puan ortalaması 4 ± 0,7; normatif mesleki bağlılığı puan ortalaması 3,5 ± 0,9 ve kariyer bağlılığı puan ortalaması 2,7 ± 0,9 olarak bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Araştırmaya katılan araştırma görevlilerinin duygusal mesleki bağlılık, mesleki devamlılık bağlılığı ve normatif mesleki bağlılık düzeyleri 5'li likert ölçeğine göre yüksek; kariyer bağlılığı düzeyleri 5'li likert ölçeğine göre orta düzeylerde bulunmuştur. Araştırma görevlilerinin fiziksel şiddete maruz kalmaları ile mesleki bağlılık alt boyutları arasında ilişki bulunmamaktadır. Kariyer bağlılıkları ile negatif yönlü ilişki bulunmaktadır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Sağlıkta şiddet; Fiziksel şiddet; Mesleki bağlılık; Kariyer bağlılığı

Results: Within the scope of the research 438 research assistants were reached. It was found that 11.4% (n=50) of the research assistants participated in the study were exposed to physical violence. Of the research assistants exposed to physical violence, 58% (n=29) were women and 46% (n=23) were employed in internal medicine sciences. 8% (n=4) of the research assistants exposed to physical violence were injured. As a result of the study research assistants that exposed to physical violence; it was found that average scores of affective commitment was 3.6±0.8; continuance commitment was 4±0,7; normative commitment was 3.5±0.9 and career commitment was 2.7±0.9.
