4-Methyl-N-(3-oxo-1,3-dihydroisobenzofuran-1-yl)benzenesulfonamide

Abstract

The title compound, C15H13NO4S, exhibits N - H⋯O and C - H⋯O hydrogen-bond inter-actions that generate S(5) and R 2 2(9) ring motifs arranged as mol-ecular chains along the c axis. The phthalide part of the mol-ecule is planar and is inclined by 67.66 (12)° to the substituted aromatic ring. © International Union of Crystallography 2007.
