In this study the effects of Aspirin and antioxidant Butylated Hydroxy Anisole (BHA) were studied individually and together on the liver microsomal Benzo (a) Pyrene Hydroxylase (BPH) activity in mice (Mus musculus). Aspirin and BHA were given to mice by intmperitonal injection and after the injection at the 2(nd), 4(th), 8(th), 12(th) and 24(th) hours mice were killed by cervical dislocation, their livers were removed, and the microsomal fractions were isoalated by differantial centrifugation. These fractions were used for the determination of alteration of BPH activities. As a result, it was determined that Aspirin and BHA inhibited the BPH activity. The maximum inhibitions were reached between 8(th) - 12(th) hours after the injections. The levels of inhibitions obtained by Aspirin injected with BHA were higher than those of substances injected individually.en_US
