Abstract
Neuromuscular diseases are a group of disorders that affect the muscles and/or the nerves that control them. They can be caused by autoimmune diseases, genetic mutations, infections, or toxins. Some examples of diseases include amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Myastenia gravis, and Guillain-Barre syndrome. Depending on the type and severity of the disease, treatment may include medications, physical therapy, occupational therapy and surgery. Treatment can help control symptoms and improve quality of life. © 2023 by Nova Science Publishers, Inc. All rights reserved.
