Abstract
Musa, Kur'an
Human being is a living creature that both teaches and learns, and always needs these facts. Meanwhile, the Quran is a holy book that meets his needs by educating, raising and guiding him. These are merely possible by the help of revelation which is the main source of information. Revelation is a divine message sent by the almighty God to his prophets. Prophets, chosen among the humanity, are eminent characters who are in charge of warning their own kind to comply with the God's ordinance and prohibition. They hold good news for the subjects taking the high road, warn the subjects taking the low road, and they are excellent role models for all. Prophets are subjected with exclusive education so as to help a large crowd of people digest the notifications, impress the ones with whom they contact in every aspect, e.g. with their knowledge and mastery in human psychology, and bring their invitation to a successful conclusion. Thus, God trained his prophets on his own at first before letting them address to societies. It's known that prophets educated and disciplined the societies where they were sent to. It is not rational to think they could take on such a tough responsibility without the training of God. Therefore, in this study, it was aimed to identify how Prophet Moses, whose name fall within thirty-four surahs and one hundred and thirty-six verses in the Quran, was trained by the God. Key Words: Prophecy, Training, Moses, Quran.
