Abstract

Müslüman tarih anlayışındaki değişim, siyer yazıcılığına etki etmekte ve bu durum, Hz. Muhammed konulu çalışmalarla ilgili araştırma ve değerlendirme yapmayı gerektirmektedir. Bu tezde Muhammed Hüseyin Heykel, Muhammed İzzet Derveze ve İmadüddin Halil'in siyer çalışmaları incelenmiştir. Modern dönemin ve sözü edilen yazarların siyer anlayışına değinilen giriş bölümünü, sırasıyla Hz. Muhammed'in geldiği ortam, Hz. Muhammed'in risalet öncesi yaşantısı, risaletin Mekke ve Medine dönemleri ve Hz. Muhammed'in kişiliği olmak üzere dört bölüm izlemektedir. Her bölümün sonunda yazarların Hz. Muhammed algılarına ilişkin söylemleri karşılaştırma yapılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Hz. In this thesis, sirah works of Muhammed Hüseyin Heykel, Muhammad İzzet Derveze and İmadüddin Halil examined. In the introduction part where the understanding of modern period and above mentioned authors about sirah, subjects such as the environment that Prophet Mohammed grew up, his life before being a prophet, Mecca and Medina period of his prophecy and the character of Prophet Mohammed have been dealt with, respectively. The end of each chapter, the statements of the above mentioned authors related with their perceptions about Prophet Mohammed are going to be evaluated in a comparative manner.
