Publication: Leyla Saz'ın Hayatı ve Bestelemiş Olduğu Eserlerin Makamsal Analizi
Abstract
Bu çalışmanın birinci bölümünde Leyla Saz'ın mevcut olan 47 eseri makamsal açıdan inceleneceği için Arel- Ezgi- Uzdilek ses sistemi hakkında detaylı bilgilendirme yapılmıştır. Çalışma içerisinde Leyla Saz'ın mevcut bulunan eserleri makamsal açıdan inceleneceğinden Geleneksel Türk müziğinde makamları oluşturan unsurlar alt başlıklar halinde incelenmiş ve Geleneksel Türk müziğinin makam sınıflandırması hakkında bilgiler aktarılmıştır. Leyla Saz'ın günümüze ulaşan eserleri şarkı, türkü ve marş olmak üzere üç formdan oluşmaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın birinci bölümünde Geleneksel Türk müziğinde kullanılan formlar aktarılmış ve bu üç formun genel yapısı hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde Leyla Saz'ın hayatı, elde edilen kaynaklardan yararlanılarak detaylı olarak anlatılmaya çalışılmış ve kaynaklarda yer alan eserleri tablolar halinde verilmiştir. Ayrıca Leyla Saz'ın günümüze ulaşan tüm eserlerinin Arel-Ezgi-Uzdilek ses sistemi bakımından makamsal analizi yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Osmanlı sarayında dünyaya gelip küçük yaşlarda çok önemli isimlerden eğitimler alan Leyla Saz Geleneksel Türk müziği için çok önemli bir kadın bestekârdır. Hem geleneksel hem de Batı müziği eğitimi almış ve bunları harmanlayarak unutulmayan eserler bırakmıştır. Yaşadığı dönemin erkek bestekârları arasında öne çıkmayı başaran bir kadın bestekâr olması bakımından Leyla Saz'ın hayatının detaylı olarak incelenmesi ve mevcut olan eserlerinin bir araya getirilerek günümüz nota sistemine göre analiz edilmesi daha sonra yapılacak çalışmalara kaynak olması bakımından oldukça önemlidir. Çalışmanın sonuç bölümünde Leyla Saz'ın günümüze ulaşan toplam 47 adet eserinin Arel- Ezgi- Uzdilek ses sistemi bakımından değerlendirilmesinden elde edilen sonuçlar yer almıştır. Buradan çıkarılan sonuç doğrultusunda Leyla Saz'ın o dönemde bestelediği eserlerin genel olarak Arel - Ezgi – Uzdilek ses sistemi ile örtüştüğü görülmüştür. Since the existing 47 works of Leyla Saz are to be examined in terms of maqam in the first part of this study, the information about Arel- Ezgi- Uzdilek sound system has been given in detail. Because the existing works of Leyla Saz are to be examined in terms of maqam in the study, the elements that make up the maqams in Traditional Turkish music have been examined in sub-titles and information about the maqam classification of Traditional Turkish music has been given. Leyla Saz's surviving works consist of three forms: song, folk song and march. In this context, in the first part of the study, the forms used in Traditional Turkish music were explained and information about the general structure of these three forms was given. In the second part of the study, Leyla Saz's life was tried to be explained in detail by using the available sources and her works in the sources were given in tables. In addition, all the works of Leyla Saz that have survived to the present day have been tried to be analysed in terms of Arel- Ezgi- Uzdilek sound system. Leyla Saz, who was born in the Ottoman palace and received training from very important names at a young age, is a very important female composer for traditional Turkish music. She studied both traditional and Western music and left unforgettable works by blending them. In terms of being a female composer who managed to stand out among the male composers of her period, it is very important to examine Leyla Saz's life in detail and to bring together her existing works and analyse them according to today's notation system, in terms of being a source for future studies. In the conclusion of the study, the results obtained from the evaluation of a total of 47 works of Leyla Saz that have survived in terms of Arel-Ezgi-Uzdilek sound system are included. In line with the conclusion drawn from here, it has been seen that the works composed by Leyla Saz at that time generally overlap with the Arel - Ezgi - Uzdilek sound system.
