Abstract
Bu araştırmada, iletişimde önemli bir unsur olan empati kavramı incelenmiş, T.C. Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı'na bağlı Kur'an kurslarında görev yapan Kur'an kursu öğreticilerinin empati düzeyleri ile çeşitli bağımsız değişkenlerin söz konusu empati düzeyleri üzerindeki etkisi araştırılmıştır.Araştırma 2011 yılında Kastamonu ili merkez ve ilçelerinde bulunan ve tesadüfî olarak seçilen 209 adet Kur'an Kursu Öğreticisi üzerinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmada öğreticilerin empati düzeyleri üzerinde etkili olduğu düşünülen cinsiyet, yaş, medenî durum, kıdem gibi toplam on iki bağımsız değişken ele alınmıştır. Bağımsız değişkenleri ve bireylerin empati düzeylerini belirlemek için ?Kişisel Bilgi Formu? ile Üstün Dökmen tarafından hazırlanmış Empatik Eğilim Ölçeği kullanılmıştır.Araştırma bir giriş ve üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında araştırmanın önemi, amacı, problem, hipotezler, sayıltılar, sınırlılıklar ve ilgili çalışmalar; birinci bölümde empati ve Kur'an Kurslarının önemi, tarihçesi gibi konular; ikinci bölümde araştırmanın yöntemi, modeli, örneklem grubu ve özellikleri; üçüncü bölümde bulgular ve yorum ortaya konulmuştur. Sonuç kısmında ise araştırmada elde edilen bulgular ile ilgili genel bir değerlendirme yapılmış ve tavsiyelerde bulunulmuştur.Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel analizinde SPSS (Stattistical For Social Sciences) WINDOWS 15.0 İstatistik Paket Programı, hipotezlerin test edilmesinde tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA), t testi, Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelasyonu?, kullanılmıştır.Sonuç olarak Kur'an kursu öğreticilerinin empati düzeylerinin ortalama 73,37 gibi yüksek bir değerde olduğu; öğreticilerin empatik eğilim düzeylerinin, cinsiyetleri, öğrenim durumları, hizmet yılları, görev durumu, iletişim-kişisel gelişim-empati kursu alması, mesleği isteyerek seçmesi ve memnuniyet durumuna göre anlamlı bir değişme gösterdiği; yaş, medeni durum, çocuk durumu, çalıştığı kurs sayısına göre anlamlı bir değişme göstermediği bulunmuştur.Anahtar Kelimeler: Empati, Kur'an Kursu Öğreticisi, Empatik Eğilim Ölçeği
In this research, empathy concept which is an important element in the communication is examined.The empathy levels of the teachers who work in the Quran Courses which are connected to The Presidency Of Religious Affairs Of The Republic Of Turkey and the effect of different kinds of independent variation on their empathy levels are investigated.The research was made on 209 Quran Courses? teachers who were from Kastamonu city centre and its distrcit in 2011 and were selected randomly, in the research totally twelve independent variations which are considared to be effective on the empathy level of the students such as gender, age, marital status, seniority are handled.To determine the independent variations and individuals? empathy levels , Individual Information Form and ``The Scale of Education Empathy which was prepared by Üstün DÖKMEN have been used.The research consists of indroduction and three parts. In the introduction part , the importance and the aim of the research, problem, hypothesis , assumptions, boundedness and related studies; in the first part subjects such as empathy and the importance and the history of the Quran Courses ; in the second part, research?s method, sample group and it?s features; in the third part, findings and comment are handled. In the conclusion part a general evaluation about the findings wich were obtained in the research was made and recommendations were made.In the statistical analysis of data which was obtained from the research, SPSS (Statistical for Social Sciences) WINDOWS 15.0 statistical package program, in the prove of hypothesis one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), t test, pearson moment correlation have been used.As a result, it is found that the average Quran Courses teachers? emphaty levels are in a high score like 73. 3748. This emphatich disposition levels are affected meaninful by some factors such as teachers? genders, education positions years of service, job status, taking an ampathy course and choosing their jobs willingly and having satisfaction, but this empathic disposition levels don?t show a meaningful change according to the courses that they work.Key words: Empathy, Quran Course, Empathic Tendency Scale.
