Muhasebe Öğretiminde Ters Yüz Edilmiş Sınıf Yöntemi: Orta Dereceli Eğitim Kurumu ve Z Kuşağı Üzerine Bir Uygulama

Abstract

Bilgi teknolojilerindeki gelişim, öğrencilerin bilgiye daha hızlı ve kolay ulaşmasına imkan sağlamaktadır. Öğretim elemanları kendini sürekli geliştirmek ve bilhassa ders anlatım tekniklerini değiştirmek ve geliştirmek durumunda kalmaktadır. Ders anlatım teknikleri konusunda geleneklere bağlı kalmak, muhafazakar bir yapı sergileyerek öğrenenlerin tek tip öğrenebileceğini düşünüp öğrenim çıktılarında sürekli hayal kırıklığına uğranılmasına sebep olmaktadır. Geleneksel öğretim teknikleri kullanarak öğrencilere ulaşmak pek mümkün olmamakla birlikte yaşamdaki gelişmeler ile eş güdümlü çalışma yapmak için eğitmenlerin derse yaklaşım ve öğretim tekniklerinde değişikliği zorunlu kılmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı da ticaret meslek lisesinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin ters-yüz edilmiş sınıf yöntemi (TYESY) ile öğrenme sürecine tabi tutulması halinde, akademik performanslarının (derse devam, aktif katılım, memnuniyet düzeyleri ve akademik başarıları gibi) herhangi bir iyileşme sağlanıp sağlanamayacağının incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla çalışma kapsamında ilk olarak ortaöğretimde muhasebe öğretimine ilişkin genel bilgilere yer verilmiş, sonrasında yeni nesil öğrencilere muhasebe öğretiminde kullanılacak alternatif yöntemlerden biri olan TYESY hakkında ayrıntılı bilgilere değinilmiştir. En son olarak da eylem çalışması uygulamak için seçilen orta dereceli bir ortaöğretim kurumunda TYESY yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Öğrencilerin öğrenme süreçlerinin etkin bir şekilde tamamlaması açısından her bir öğrencinin öğrenme stilleri değerlendirilmiş ardından geleneksel öğretim yöntemi (GÖY) yerine TYESY ile öğrenim gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, öğrencilerin TYESY uygulanışı sırasında ders içinde geçen zamanı algılayış biçiminde farklılıklar bulunduğu, akademik başarı açısından ortak paydada buluşulduğu görülmüştür.The development of information makes the students get information fast and easily and the development has led the teachers to improve themselves continuously and with the development, it requires different kinds of teaching methods and their progress. Adhering to traditional lecture techniques and conservative approach causes frustration in educational. It is not possible to reach students using traditional teaching methods; therefore, the differences make the change necessary in teachers' approach to lesson and teaching methods in order to provide coordinated work with developments in life. The aim at the study is to observe if better improvement might happen in academic achievement (attendance to school, attendance of students to lessons, levels of satisfaction and academic achievement) in the event of being subjected to learning process of students with flipped classroom method. For the purpose, in the study, firstly general information related with accounting education was given to vocational high school. Following the education details information about flipped classroom method, one of alternative methods for accounting education, was given to new generation students. Consequently, in order to apply a work action flipped classroom method was showed in a high school. In terms of completing students' learning process effectively. Every student's learning style was evaluated and flipped classroom method was applied instead of traditional method. As a result of the study, it was seen that there were differences in perception of time in the lesson during flipped classroom method.
