Abstract
in ÖZET Bu çalışmanın amacı kömür yakılması sonucu oluşan Kükürt dioksit (SC^'in baca gazından giderilmesidir. Çalışmada kömür, ızgaralı bir sobada yakılmıştır. Soba borusundan iki çıkış alınıp, baca gazı vakum pompalan yardımıyla çekilmiştir. Çıkışların birine 1.5 cm çaplı ve 100 mi hacminde borosilikat camdan yapılmış perlit dolu kolon bağlanmıştır. Baca gazı aynı anda hem filtreden geçirilip alınmış hem de hiç bir işlem görmeden alınarak SO2 analizleri yapılmıştır. Çalışmada değişik tane boylarında genleştirilmiş perlit kullanılmıştır. Yapılan çalışma sonucu 35 mesh tane boyutundaki perlitin SO2 giderme verimleri %99-%99,9 arasında olduğundan en etkin boyut olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ancak karışık taneli perlitin de SO2 giderim verimlerinin %90'ın üzerinde olduğu göz önüne alındığında, sonuç olarak karışık tane boyutunda perlit kullanımının daha ekonomik olduğuna karar verilmiştir.
IV ABSTRACT Aim of this study was to remove SO2 from flue gas which is formed by burning coal. In this study, coal was burned in an screening stow. It has taken two outlet in stow pipe and the flue gas has been pulled with the vacuum pomps. The perlite column was tied to one of the outlet. The column made of boroslicate glass which diameter was 1.5 cm and the volume was 100 ml. SO2 analyses were performed in flue gas before and after it passed through filter column. In experiments perlite material which is separated to different particle sizes was used. It was observed that the perlite which particle size is 35 mesh is the best efficient in the removal of SO2 gas. But it take in to consideration that SO2 removal efficiency is very high in mixed particle perlite, finally it was decided that the mixed particle size was very economic.
