dc.description.abstractThe use of polymeric phthalocyanines for high technology materials, due to their high thermostability was discussed. Polymeric phthalocyanines have found widespread applications in catalysis, optical recording, photoconductive materials and photodynamic therapy. The compound C<inf>28</inf>H <inf>14</inf>N<inf>4</inf>O<inf>2</inf>S was synthesized according to the procedure of Takekoshi. Single crystals were obtained from a solution in ethanol through slow evaporation at room temperature.en_US
