Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are used as a first line therapy for many diseases in obstetrics and gynecology. Tocolytics in preterm labor, dysmenorrhea, and menorrhagia are the most common indications. These agents have fewer adverse effects than hormonal treatments. COX-2 specific inhibitors are new agents for obstetrics and gynecology. © 2021 by Nova Science Publishers, Inc. All rights reserved.en_US
