Lise 1. Sınıf Coğrafya Öğretim Programının Öğretmenlerce Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Yeni lise I coğrafya öğretim programı, önceki coğrafya öğretim programları ile karşılaştırıldığında farklı bir programdır. Bu farklılık, yeni programın öğrenci merkezli olmasından kaynaklanmaktadır. Daha önceki programlara göre, bu programda öğretim süreçeri,öğrenci başarısının değerlendirilmesi ile ilgili etkinliklere ve coğrafi becerilere daha fazla yer verilmiştir. İceriğin belirgin olmaması, bu program için en önemli sorundur. Ayrıca içerik için haftalık ders saati yetersizdir. Programın içerik sistematiğinde coğrafya biliminin özüe aykı rı durumlar söz konusudur. Kazanımların çok genel olması da program için bir sorundur. Okulların ve öğretmenlerin bu programa hazır olmaması programı n uygulanabilirliğini güçleştirmektedir. Ancak tüm olumlu ve olumsuz durumları program geliştirmenin bir parçası olarak düşünmek gerekir.Compared with the old Geography Teaching Programme, the new Geography Teaching Department for High School First Graders is a different programme in that it is a student centered programme. In this programme, teaching activities, assessment of students‘ success and Geographical skills are given much more importance than the old programmes. One considerable drawback of this programme is that its content is not clear enough. The number courses per week is not enough to cover all the topics in the program. There are some cases which have nothing to do with the spirit of geography, which result from the wrong systematization of the contents of the program. The fact that acquisitions are very general is another problem with the program. Both the teachers and the schools are not up to the requirements of the program, which result in the failure of the programme because it cannot be applied properly. However, it must be kept in mind that both the positive and negative aspects of the program are just part of program development.
