Abstract
Protection of power transformers take part in transmission and distribution lines is an important issue. For the reason, there are many studies which improve various methods on the subject. Among the methods, differential protection method is commonly used because of its reliability. On account of some challenging points in the method, people who study on differential protection, tries to improve the method. This paper improves a new point of view to wavelet transform based differential protection algorithm for power transformers. © 2016 The Chamber of Turkish Electrical Engineers.
