dc.description.abstractThe title compound, C<inf>20</inf>H<inf>16</inf>N<inf>2</inf>O<inf>2</inf>, displays a trans configuration with respect to the N=N double bond. The aromatic rings bridged by the azo group are nearly coplanar, forming a dihedral angle of 6.83 (8)°. A strong intramolecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bond is observed. In the three-dimensional network, the molecules are linked by weak van der Waals interactions. © 2006 International Union of Crystallography All rights reserved.en_US
