Publication: Substitue Anilin Türevleri İçeren Oksim Bileşikleri ve Bazı Metal Komplekslerinin Sentezi ve Spektroskopik Özelliklerinin İncelenmesi
Abstract
Oxime compounds have become a class of compounds on which a lot of work has been done in recent years, as they have wide application areas such as chemistry, medicine, pharmacy and military fields. In particular, the fact that the substituent groups in their structures can be differentiated and the changes in their chemical properties can be studied depending on these groups, allowing different studies to be carried out on oxime compounds. Likewise, the stable nature of the complexes of oxime compounds with some transition metals has expanded the number and type of studies. In this thesis, five different oxime ligands were synthesized as a result of the reactions of vic-dioxime compounds belonging to the oxime class with phenylamine compounds containing different phenoxy groups. Ni(II), Cu(II) and Co(II) complexes of these ligands were obtained. The structures of the synthesized ligand and metal complexes were elucidated by spectroscopic methods. As a result of the experimental studies, it was observed that the solubility of vic-dioxime ligands containing phenylamino derivatives is high in organic polar solvents such as methanol and ethanol, whereas the solubility of the complexes is low. It was determined that the melting point of the complexes was very high compared to the synthesized ligands. According to the results obtained by using elemental analysis, spectroscopic methods, and magnetic moment analysis, it was understood that the synthesized Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes have square plane geometry and Co(II) complexes has octahedral geometry
