Okul Öncesi Öğretmenlerine Yönelik 21. Yüzyıl Becerilerine İlişkin Hizmet İçi Eğitim Programının Etkililiği

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı okul öncesi öğretmenlerine yönelik 21. yüzyıl becerilerine ilişkin hizmet içi eğitim programının etkililiğini incelemektir. Araştırmada kontrol gruplu zayıf deneysel desenlerden Eşit Olmayan Gruplar Son-Test Deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu seçkisiz olmayan örnekleme yöntemlerinden uygun örnekleme yönetemi ile belirlenmiştir. Çalışmaya katılan 30 okul öncesi öğretmenlerinden 15 okul öncesi öğretmeni deney grubunu temsil ederken 15 okul öncesi öğretmeni kontrol grubunu temsil etmektedir. Çalışma kapsamında okul öncesi öğretmenlerine yönelik 21. yüzyıl becerilerine ilişkin hizmet içi eğitim programı hazırlanıp uygulanmıştır. Çalışmada veriler '21.Yüzyıl Becerilerine Sahip Olma ve Önemi Ölçeği', '21.Yüzyıl Becerileri Başarı Testi' ve 'Program Değerlendirme Formu' ile elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde parametrik testlerden bağımsız gruplar t testi kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucunda deney ve kontrol grubu öğretmenlerin 'başarı testi' son test puanları arasında anlamlı fark saptanırken, '21. Yüzyıl becerileri sahip olma ve önemi' test puanları arasında anlamlı fark bulunmamıştır. Öğretmenlerin program değerlendirme formuna ilişkin yanıtlarının ortalamasının ise 'çok iyi' düzeyinde olduğu görülmüştür. Program süresinin kısa olması eleştirilmiştir. Analizler doğrultusunda genel olarak, okul öncesi öğretmenlerine yönelik 21. Yüzyıl becerilerine ilişkin hizmet içi eğitim programının farkındalık oluşturduğu söylenebilir.

The aim of this research is to examine the effectiveness of the in-service training program on 21st century skills for preschool teachers. In the study, the Unequal Groups Post-Test Design, which is one of the weak experimental designs with control groups, was used. The study group of the research was determined by convenient sampling method, which is one of the non-random sampling methods. Of the 30 preschool teachers participating in the study, 15 preschool teachers represent the experimental group, while 15 preschool teachers represent the control group. Within the scope of the study, an in-service training program on 21st century skills for preschool teachers was prepared and implemented. In the study, the data were obtained with the '21st Century Skills Possession and Importance Scale', '21st Century Skills Achievement Test' and 'Program Evaluation Form'. In the analysis of the data, independent groups t-test from parametric tests was used. As a result of the analysis, a significant difference was found between the 'achievement test' post-test scores of the experimental and control group teachers, while the '21. There was no significant difference between the test scores of 'having and importance of 21st century skills'. It was observed that the average of the teachers' answers to the program evaluation form was at the 'very good' level. The short duration of the program was criticized. In line with the analyses, it can be said that the in-service training program on 21st century skills for pre-school teachers raises awareness.
