Modern Türk Edebiyatında Zaman Kurgusu Açısından 1950 Kuşağı Türk Öyküsü

Abstract

1950 kuşağı Türk öyküsünde zaman kurgusuna odaklanan bu çalışma, modernist eğilimlerle birlikte anlatıların zaman kurgusunda meydana gelen değişimi ve bu değişimin Türk edebiyatındaki önemini inceler. Çalışma birbiriyle ilişkili üç amaç etrafında şekillenir. Kuşak öyküsünde zaman kurgusunun, yapıyı oluşturan diğer unsurlardan daha baskın bir işleve sahip olduğunu göstermek, çalışmanın öncelikli amacıdır. Bunun için zamanın felsefi ve kurgusal karşılıklarından yola çıkılarak öykü incelemeleri için bir yol haritası belirlenir. Zamanın anlatılardaki temsili ve dönüşümü, kuşak öyküsü üzerinde incelenirken öznel zaman ve etki anahtar kavramlardır. Öznel zaman öykülerin zaman algısını, etki ise zamanın biçimlendiriliş amacını anlatır. Bu iki kavram aynı zamanda 1950 kuşağı öyküsünün, klasik hikâyeden kopuşunun da hangi noktalar üzerinden gerçekleştiğini gösterir. Öykülerdeki öznel zaman algısı, kurgudaki çatışmanın zaman etrafında şekillenmesini sağlarken okuru etkilemeye dayalı bir oyunun da başlangıç noktasını oluşturur. Böylece zaman, hikâyeyi oluşturan olay örgüsü, karakter, mekân gibi ögeler arasında merkezi bir rol üstlenir ve onları yönlendirir. Zamanın anlatıdaki bu biçimlendirilişi, birçok anlatım tekniğinin birlikteliğinden doğan özgün bir süreçtir. Bu sürecin kuşak öyküsünde hangi teknikler üzerinden gerçekleştirildiğinin araştırılması, tezin ikinci amacıdır. Kullanılan yeni teknikler, kuşak öyküsünün Türk edebiyatındaki öncü yerini belirlerken onun gelenekle ve yeni kuşaklarla ilişkisini de düzenler. Bununla birlikte modern bireyin kavranışı ve bunun yeni anlatım teknikleri üzerinde göstergeleşmesi, kuşak öyküsünü Batı edebiyatının önemli isimlerine yaklaştırır. Felsefedeki zaman tartışmalarının yansımalarının arayışı tezin üçüncü amacıdır. Nesnel zamanın geri planda kaldığı öykülerde, öznel zamanın temsili önemli bir çoğulculuğa sahiptir. Bu çoğulculuk, modernizm eleştirilerinin kurgusal yansımasıdır. Çalışmanın içeriği bu üç amaca ulaşılacak şekilde düzenlenir. Öykü incelemelerinde, yapısalcı edebiyat yaklaşımları bir yöntem olarak benimsenirken zaman kurgusuna ait tekniklerin anlatıdaki işlevleri, öykü incelemelerinin temelini oluşturur. This study, which focuses on time fiction in 1950 generation Turkish story, examines the change in the time fiction of narratives along with modernist tendencies and the importance of this change in Turkish literature. The study takes shape around three interrelated goals. It is the primary aim of the study to show that the time fiction has a more dominant function in the period story than other elements that make up the structure. For this, a road map for story studies is determined based on the philosophical and fictional responses of the time. While the representation and transformation of time in narratives is examined on the generation story, subjective time and impress are key concepts. Subjective time tells the perception of time of stories and the impress tells the purpose of shaping time. These two concepts also show on which points the 1950 generation story and its break with the classical story take place. While the inner experience of time in the stories provides the formation of the conflict in the fiction around the time, it also constitutes the starting point of a game based on impressive the reader. Thus, time plays a central role among the items such as plot, character, and space that make up the story and direct them. This shaping of time in the narrative is an original process that results from the combination of many narration techniques. The second aim of the thesis is to investigate which techniques are carried out in the generation story. While the new techniques used determine the leading position generation story in Turkish literatüre, it also regulates its relationship with tradition and new generations. However, the understanding of the modern individual and its indication on new narrative techniques bring the generational story closer to the important names of Western literature. The pursuit of the reflection of the time debates in philosophy is the third aim of the thesis. In stories where the cosmological time is left behind, the representation of subjective time has an important pluralism. This pluralism is the fictional reflection of the criticism of modernism. The content of the study is arranged in such a way that these three objectives are achieved. In story studies, while structuralist literary approaches are adopted as a method, the functions of time fiction techniques in the narrative form the basis of story studies.
