Arma Modellerinin Bayes Analizi ve Bir Uygulama

Abstract

Ill ARMA MODELLERİNİN BAYES ANALİZİ VE BİR UYGULAMA ÖZET ARMA modellerinin Bayes analizi üzerine yapılan bu çalışma beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde, tezin amacı ve genel hatları takdim edildi. İkinci bölümde, genel bilgiler başlığı altında özel veri tiplerinin analiz edilmesi için kullanılan metotların teorik çerçevesi verildi. ARMA modelleri ve Bayes çıkarımı tanıtıldı. Üçüncü bölümde, materyal ve metod başlığı altında tezin orijinal kısmı oluşturuldu. Arma modellerinin Bayes analizi verildi. Ayrıca bu bölümde mümkün modeller ve analiz metotları verildi. Dördüncü bölümde Samsun kükürtdioksit verileri için çeşitli modeller gözden geçirildi ve analiz edildi. Son bölümde tezin sonuçları ve bilgi içeren önsel dağılımların kullanımı ve bu tezde önerilen metotların ve fikirlerin diğer modellere de uygulanabileceği önerisi gelecekte yapılacak çalışmaların temel fikri olabileceği tartışıldı. IV BAYES ANALYSIS OF ARMA MODELS AND AN APPLICATION ABSTRACT This study based on Bayesian Analysis of ARMA models consists of five chapters. Firstly, the introduction gives the aim and an outline of this thesis. Secondly under general information headline, theoretical framework, which is common to the subsequent chapters which focus on methods for analysing particular kinds of data, is given. We describe ARMA models and Bayesian inference. Thirdly, under material and method headline original part of this thesis is constructed. Bayesian Analysis of ARMA models is presented. In this chapter, possible models and methods of analysis are given. Fourthly, we are concerned with air pollution data ( S02 data ) in Samsun. We describe the data, develop appropriate models and present the corresponding analysis. The last chapter presents the conclusions of this thesis and discussion about future work including the specification of informative prior distributions and suggestions for the other models which might benefit by using the ideas and methods proposed in this thesis.
