Homotetik Hareketler Altında Holditch Teoreminin İki Kapalı Eğriye ve Bir Açık Eğriye (Holditch Hilalleri) Genelleştirilmesi

Abstract

HOMOTETİK HAREKETLER ALTINDA HOLDITCH TEOREMİNİN IKI KAPALI EĞRİYE VE BİR AÇIK EĞRİYE (HOLDITCH HİLALLERİ) GENELLEŞTİRİLMESİ ÖZET Bu çalışma, beş temel bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde konunun ele alınma sebebi ve çalışmanın amacı, ikinci bölümde ise tezin temelini oluşturan Holditch Teoremi [7] ile ilgili literatürdeki çalışmalar hakkında bilgi verildi Genel bilgiler bölümünde ise homotetik hareketle ilgili temel kavramlar verildi Materyal ve Metot bölümü iki alt bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde Tutar ve Kuruoğlu [23] tarafından verilen 1 -parametreli kapalı homotetik hareketler için Steiner alan formülü ve Holditch Teoremi verilmiştir. İkinci alt bölümde ise Yüce ve Kuruoğlu [25] tarafından verilen ve tezin orijinal bölümünde kullanacağımız 1 -parametreli açık düzlemsel homotetik hareketler için Steiner formülü sunuldu. Tezimizin orijinal kısmım oluşturan Bulgular bölümü üç alt kısımdan oluşmaktadır. Birinci kısımda, kapalı homotetik hareketler altında Holditch Teoreminin iki kapalı eğriye genelleştirilmesi verildi İkinci kısımda ise kapalı homotetik hareketler için Holditch Teoreminde [23] oval yerine sabit düzlemin sınırsız konveks bölgesinin kenar eğrisi alınarak Holditch teoreminin açık eğrilere (Holditch Hilalleri) genişlemesi sunuldu. Üçüncü kısımda ise ikinci kısımda sunulan düzlemsel Holditch Hilalleri uzaysal Holditch Hilallerine genelleştirilerek Cavalieri Prensibine göre hacmi hesaplandı. Ill THE GENERALIZATION OF HOLDITCH THEOREM TO TWO CLOSED CURVES AND AN OPEN CURVE (HOLDITCH SICKLES) UNDER HOMOTHETIC MOTIONS ABSTRACT This study consists of five chapters. In introduction, the reason why this study is taken into consideration is given and in the second chapter, the basic studies connected with classic Holditch Theorem [7] have been presented. In the third chapter, fundamental concepts about homothetic motions are given. The fourth chapter consists of two sections. In the first section, the Steiner area formula and Holditch Theorem for 1 -parameter closed planar homothetic motions given by Tutar and Kuruoğlu [23] are given. In the second section, the Steiner formula for 1- parameter open planar homothetic motions given by Yüce and Kuruoğlu [25] has been presented. The fifth chapter which is the original part of our study consists of three sections. In the first section, the generalization of Holditch Theorem for two closed curves is given. In the second section, the Holditch Theorem given under closed homothetic motions is extended to an open curve (Holditch Sickles). In the last section, the planar Holditch Sickles given in the second section is generalization to spatial Holditch Sickles and its volume is obtained by using Cavalier Principle.
