Türkçe Ders Kitaplarındaki Edat Etkinliklerinin İşlev Temelli Dil Yapıları ve Söz Varlığı Kazanımlarına Göre İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırma, ortaokul Türkçe ders kitaplarındaki 'edat' etkinliklerini, 2024 Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı'nda yer alan 'işlev temelli dil yapıları ve söz varlığı' kazanımları (öğrenme çıktıları) açısından incelemeyi ve edatların 'işlev temelli dil yapıları' içinde öğretimine yönelik etkinlik önerileri sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi ile nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara bakıldığında, ortaokul Türkçe ders kitaplarından 5 ve 6. sınıf kitaplarında edat etkinliklerinin yer aldığı, bu edat etkinliklerinin kitaplardaki 'dinleme/izleme, okuma, konuşma, yazma ve tama sonu değerlendirme (kontrol noktası)' alanlarına eşit dağılmadığı görülmüştür. Ortaokul 2024 Türkçe dersi Öğretim Programı'nda ifade edilen 'işlev temelli dil yapıları ve söz varlığı' kazanımlarına göre değerlendirilen 5 ve 6. sınıf ders kitaplarındaki edat etkinliklerinin ise 'anlama' ve 'anlatma' başlıklarında belirtilen kazanımlara (öğrenme çıktıları) eşit dağılmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca ders kitaplarında ve literatürde edatların kullanıldıkları bazı işlevlerinin de güncel programın hiçbir sınıf seviyesindeki 'işlev temelli dil yapıları ve söz varlığı' kazanımlarında yer almadığı dikkati çekmiştir. Ders kitaplarından alınan ve farklı işlevleri içeren edat etkinliklerine öğrencilerin doğru cevap verme durumları da ortaya konulup 'işlev temelli dil yapıları ve söz varlığı' öğrenme çıktılarını ve literatürü dikkate alarak etkinlik önerilerinde bulunulmuştur.

This research aims to examine the 'preposition' activities in middle school Turkish textbooks in terms of the 'function-based language structures and vocabulary' achievements (learning outcomes) outlined in the 2024 Turkish Language Teaching Program, and to provide activity suggestions for teaching prepositions within 'function-based language structures.' The study employs document analysis from qualitative research methods and descriptive survey model from quantitative research methods. The results indicate that preposition activities are present in the 5th and 6th grade middle school Turkish textbooks, but these activities are not evenly distributed across the areas of 'listening/watching, reading, speaking, writing, and end-of-term assessment (checkpoints).' When evaluated according to the 'function-based language structures and vocabulary' achievements stated in the 2024 middle school Turkish language teaching program, it has been determined that the preposition activities in the 5th and 6th grade textbooks are not evenly distributed among the achievements (learning outcomes) specified under the headings of 'comprehension' and 'expression.' Additionally, it has been noted that some functions of prepositions used in the textbooks and literature are not included in any class level of the current program's 'function-based language structures and vocabulary' achievements. By examining the students' correct responses to preposition activities created from the textbooks, which include different functions, suggestions for activities have been made considering the 'function-based language structures and vocabulary' learning outcomes and the literature.
