Abstract
In this research, the relationship between the Conditional Agression Levels and Cyber Bullying of highschool students in Samsun has been investigated in terms of whether the conditional level of aggression and cyber bullying differentiate according to gender, grade and district. The sampling of the research is composed of a total of 955 (492 girls and 463 boys ) students chosen from highschools in Samsun who study in the 9,10,11 and 12th grades. In the research, the 'Cyber Bully/Victim Scale' developed by Ayas and Horzum (2010) and the 'Conditional Continuous Anger Scale' developed by Spielberger (1983) were used. Adjustment to conditions in Turkey was completed by Özer measurements. The reliability and validity studies of both scales have been done and confirmed that they are both valid and reliable. The statistical analiysis of data has been carried out by the SPSS program. Whether the data depict normal range has been investigated with the Shpiro-Wilk test. It has been found that the data does not depict a normal range and thus the correlation among the data that does not have a normal range has been investigated by the Spearman correlation analysis. Besides this, the Kriskall Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests used in non-parametric data have also been used. According to the findings resulted from the research, there is a reasonable correlation between the chance of being a bully and being a victim. Likewise, there is a meaningful relationship between the level of aggression and being a bully and being a victim. However, these relationships are weak ones of the same direction. When examined on the basis of gender, there is no meaningful difference among the points of aggression but there are differences in terms of bully/victim values. According to this, it is found that boys show more bullying behaviour than girls and are also exposed to bullying behaviour more than girls. KEY WORDS(3) Cyber Bully, Cyber Victim, Conditional Continuous Aggression
