Abstract
Bu araştırma özel yetenekli çocukların ebeveynlerine yönelik aile iletişim programının etkililiğini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma Bilim Sanat Merkezine (BİLSEM) devam eden özel yetenekli çocukların ebeveynleri ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada ön test – son test kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veriler 'Aile Değerlendirme Ölçeği' ve 'Başarı Testi' ile elde edilmiştir. Deney grubu olan velilere altı haftalık özel yeteneklilerle ilgili farkındalık ve aile içi iletişim temeline dayanan eğitim programı uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde non-parametrik testler kullanılmıştır. Program sonunda özel yetenekli çocuğa sahip ebeveynlerin öntest-sontest puan ortalamaları arasında son test lehine anlamlı fark çıkmıştır ve bu eğitim programının etkili olduğu görülmüştür.
This study aims at revealing the effectiveness of the education program for the gifted children parents. The sample of the study consists of parents who have gifted children living in Amasya province and the gifted children attending BİLSEM. Pre-test and post-test control group experimental design was employed during the study. The data were obtained from two scales which are 'Family Assessment Scale' and 'Program Final Success Test'. The parents of the experimental group received a six- week training program based on the awareness and family communication with gifted children. None-parametric test were used to analyz the data. At teh end of the program, it is revealed that there is significant difference between pre-test and post-test point averages of the parents with gifted children. Anothef finding of the study is that the education program is found to be effective.
