An Objective Method for Determining Refractive Errors: Retinoscopy

Abstract

In the past few years, autorefractometer has became the most useful method for the measurements of refractive errors because of its rapid and reliable results. However, there are still special indications for retinoscopy. It is necessary for the ophthalmologist to know the functional principles and application properties. In this review, we targeted to explain the basic rules of this technique.
