Abstract
-34- ÖZET Lineer alkil benzen(LAB) ve Dodesil benzen (DDB ) dünyada ve ülkemizde deterjan yapımında kullanılan aktif maddelerdir.Deterjanların insanlar dahil birçok canlı için toksik etkili olduğu bilinmektedir,. Ayrıca deterjan kullanımı sonucunda oluşan fenollu bileşiklerinde toksik etkili olduğu gözlenmiştir. Deterjanlar ve kullanım ürün leri atık sulara akarsulara, göllere ve denizlere karışarak çevre kirliliğine de neden olurlar. Ülkemizde 1986 yılına kadar deterjan üretiminde aktif madde olarak DDB kullanılıyordu. Fakat DDB nin toksik etkisinin fazla olduğu saptandıktan sonra LAB kullanılmaya başlandı. Deterjan üretiminde aktif madde ile birlikte ba zı metal iyonlarıda yumuşatıcı olarak kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada DDB ve LAB ın bakteriler.üzerindeki etkileri karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmiştir. Pseudomonas aeruginosa ve Staphylococcus aureus LAB ve DDB'li ortamlarda üretildiğinde bakteriler ksiloz'u kullanma özelliğini kaybederken, sitrat'ı kullanabilme özelliği kazanmışlardır..Ayrıca Pseudomonas aeruginosa cef otoxime direnç kazanırken Staphyloeocus aureus chloramphenicol direnç kazanmışlardır.. Metal iyonları bakterilerin üremelerini baskılamaktadır, DDB metal iyonla rı ile birlikte kullanıldığında bakterilerin üremesini LAB' a göre daha fazla baskı lamaktadır.
-55- SUMMAEY Lineer Alkyl Benzen(LAB) and Dodecyl Benzen(DDB) are active compounds which are used in the production of the detergents in our country and the world. Detergents are known to have toxic effect on human beings and animals.Apart from this, phenolic compounds which yielded after the degradation of the detergents ' are known to have toxic effects. Detergents and their derivati ves tootcouse enviromental pollution by into the rivers, lakes and sean. In our country, DDB was being used as an active compound in detergent production until 1986. But after DDB was determined to have highly toxic effect, people have begun using LAB since than. Metal ions are used as softeners in the detergent production together with active compounds. In this study, the toxic effect of DDB and LAB on bacteria are investigated comparatively. When Fseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylacoccus aureus produced on medium agar with DDB and LABj^Bacteria lose their xlose using tenden cy but gain citrat using tendency. On the other hand when Pseudomonas aeruginosa has gained resistance against cef otoxime.Staphylococcus aureus has gained resistance against chloramphenicol. Metal ions inhibit the reproduction of the bacteria. When DDB is used together with metal ions, inhibition of DDB was stronger than LAB on the reproduction of the bacteria.
