1 '-Benzyl-1-(2,4-Dimethoxyphenyl)-3-Phenoxyspiro[Azetidine-2,3 '(3H)-Indole]-2 ',4(1H)-Dione

Abstract

The title compound, C<inf>31</inf>H<inf>26</inf>N<inf>2</inf>O <inf>5</inf>, is a compound with a spiro junction between β-lactam and isatin ring systems. Its four-and five-membered rings are nearly planar, with maximum deviations of -0.020 (1) and 0.050 (1) Å for their carbonyl C atoms, respectively. The dihedral angle between these two rings is 86.44 (5)°. The crystal structure is stabilized by intramolecular C-H⋯O hydrogen-bonding and van der Waals interactions. © 2006 International Union of Crystallography All rights reserved.
