Abstract

In the title compound, C<inf>6</inf>H<inf>18</inf>N<inf>2</inf>O <inf>2</inf>2+·2C<inf>2</inf>Cl<inf>3</inf>O<inf>2</inf> -,the cation possesses a twofold rotation axis passing through the midpoint of the central C - C bond. Hydrogen-bonded rings are formed by two cations and two anions. The ions further form a three-dimensional network via N - H⋯O and N - H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds. © 2006 International Union of Crystallography Printed in Great Britain - all rights reserved.
