Lahana (Brassica Oleracea L. Var. Capitata) Tohum Partilerinde Tohum Gücü Performanslarının Belirlenmesinde Kontrollü Bozulma ve Hızlı Yaşlandırma Testlerinin Kullanımı

Abstract

Bu araştırmada, dört adet beyaz baş lahana ( Brassica oleracea L. var. capitata) çeşidine ait tohum partileri kullanılarak kontrollü bozulmanın ve hızlı yaşlandırmanın lahana tohumları üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Araştırmada, Bafra, Yalova 1, Yalova Sarmalık ve Bayraklı 85 çeşitlerine ait tohum partileri deneme materyali olarak kullanılmıştır. Denemeler, Gıda, Tarım ve Hayvancılık Bakanlığı Tohumluk Tescil ve Sertifikasyon Merkez Müdürlüğü'ne ait Tohum Çimlenme ve Test Laboratuarında, çıkış testleri ise Tohumluk Tescil ve Sertifikasyon Merkez Müdürlüğü'ne ait cam serada yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada standart laboratuar çimlenmesi % 77 - 98 olan tohum partileri torf içine ekilerek çıkış testi yapılmıştır. Kontrollü bozulma testi, 40 - 45o C'de % 20 nem içeriği ve 24 - 48 saat sürelerde uygulamalar şeklinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Hızlı yaşlandırma testleri ise 40, 45 ve 50o C sıcaklık, % 10, 12 ve 14 nem ve 24, 48, 72, 96, 120 ve 144 saat sürelerde yapılmıştır. 40o C sıcaklık % 12 ve %14 nemde 72 ve 96 saat süreler öne çıkmıştır. Sonuç olarak, lahanalarda kontrollü bozulma testi 45o C sıcaklık % 20 nem ve 48 saatlik süre, hızlı yaşlandırma testinde ise 40o C sıcaklık % 12 ve 14 nem ile 72 ve 96 saat süre uygulamaları lahana çıkış performansını tahmin etmede rutin bir test olarak kullanılabilir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, kullanılan kontrollü bozulma ve hızlı yaşlandırma testlerinin tohum partilerinin güç açısından sınıflandırmasını sağlamıştır.

In this research, the effects of controlled degeneration and accelerated aging on cabbage seeds were investigated by using seed lots from four units of white head cabbage (B. oleracea L. var. capitata) variety. Seed lots from Bafra, Yalova 1, Yalova Sarmalık and Bayraklı 85 varieties were used as trial material in this research. Trials have been conducted in seed germination and test laboratories of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, Variety Registration and Seed Certification Center, emergence tests were conducted in a glass greenhouse of variety registration and seed certification center. In this trial, emergence tests were conducted by sowing seed lots with % 77 ? 98 germination in turf. Controlled degeneration test was conducted at 40 ? 45 o C and 20 % moisture content for 24 - 48 hours of applications. Accelerated aging tests were done at 40, 45 and 50 oC and 10, 12 % and 14 % moisture content for 24, 48, 72, 96, 120 and 144 hours.72 and of the durations 96 hours were observed at 40 oC temperature and 12% and 14 moisture content. As a result, the combination of 45 oC temperature, 20 % moisture content and 48 hours duration for controlled degeneration test and 40 oC temperature and 12% and 14 moisture content with 72 and the application of 96 hours durations applications for accelerated aging can be used as a routine test for forecasting cabbage emergence vigor. Results of this research provided us to classify seed lots according to their performance by using controlled degeneration and accelerated aging.
