Publication: Voleybolcularda Fonksiyonel ve Konvansiyonel Alt Ekstremite Kuvvetlerinin Denge İle Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi
Abstract
Aim: The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between functional performance tests and isokinetic tests and balance in male volleyball players. Material and Method: The subject group of the research consists of volleyball players between the ages of 18-35 who have been active in sports for at least 5 years. Subjects were given isokinetic knee strength tests at different angular velocities (60° 180° 240° and 300°/sec.), Y balance test, five different FPTs (TAA, ÜAA, ÇA, YÜAA, YRA) and CSMI- TecnoBody PK-252 single-double foot static and dynamic balance test was applied. Results: 60° 180° 240° and 300°/sec on DT and NDT sides. No significance was found in knee strengths, FPTs, USIs obtained from FPT, Y-balance and isokinetic tests, H/Q ratios and Y-balance test comparisons (p>0.05). When the DT side knee strengths were compared with the Y-balance test, a significant difference was observed in the ANT parameter, but not on the NDT side (p>0.05). In the force tests applied on the DT and NDT sides at different angular velocities, significance was found in the ÇA, YÜAA and YRA tests (p>0.05). While no significance was found in FPTs with the NDT side Y-balance test, a negative relationship was found in the DT side TAA (p>0.05). No significant difference was found in the comparison of the static-dynamic balance tests of both feet and one foot (p>0.05). Static and dynamic bipedal balance test AFBS and ATE parameters, static balance test on the right and left sides AMLS Y-balance test and COPX were significant, while other parameters were not significant (p>0.05). Conclusion: When the results of our research were evaluated, it was seen that similar findings emerged as a result of comparisons on the right and left sides in isokinetic tests, FPTs, USIs, H/Q ratios and Y-balance test. The emergence of significant results in the CA, AAA and YRA test evaluations in FPTs shows that volleyball is due to its unique stepping technique. In the static-dynamic single and double foot balance assessments, DT and NDT did not reveal significant differences between the parties. Keywords: Balance tests, Functional performance tests, Isokinetic strength, Knee strength.
