Kentsel Sürdürülebilirlik ve Türk Sinemasına Yansımaları: Entelköy Efeköy'e Karşı Filmi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Modernitenin doğaya hükmetme düşüncesini merkeze alan, ilerlemeci uygarlık anlayışına alternatif bir yaşam stratejisine karşılık gelen sürdürülebilirlik yaklaşımı ve bu anlayışın sinemasal eserlerde nasıl temsil edildiği tartışmaya açılmaktadır. Bu bakışla öncelikle sürdürülebilirlik kavramı, ortaya çıkışı ve taşıdığı anlamlar bakımından kuramsal olarak incelenmekte, sürdürülebilirlik felsefesi, "kentsel sürdürülebilirlik" ve "yavaş şehir" kavramları açıklanmaktadır. Çalışmanın inceleme bölümünde ise örneklem olarak belirlenen Entelköy Efeköy'e Karşı filmi sürdürülebilirlik perspektifini belirleyen temel prensipler ve daha özelde de yavaş şehir ölçütleri çerçevesinde belirlenen temalar üzerinden analiz edilmektedir. Bu kapsamda filmde sürdürülebilir bir yaşamla ilgili ne tür temsillerin yer aldığı ve bu temsil biçimlerinin toplumsal alana ve yönetmenin algısına ilişkin ne tür ipuçları sunduğu tespit edilmeye çalışılmaktadır

In this study, sustainability perception that is corresponding to alternative livelihood strategy to progressive understanding of civilization which gets the modernity's idea of dominating the nature to the center and how this perception is represented in the cinematic works is opened up for discussion. In this regard, firstly the term of sustainability has been examined theoretically in respect to its meaning and history. And the terms of sustainability philosophy, "urban sustainability" and "slow city" have been explained. In the research section of the study, the film Entelköy Efeköy'e Karşı has been defined as sample of the study and it has been analyzed in the frame of sustainability perception and slow city criterias by means of identified topics. Within this framework, it has been tried to be determained that; what kind of representations are there for a sustainable life in the film and what kind of clues related to the social sphare and the director's perception are indicated by these representations
